My repair skill is too low to get Jury Rigging, and I'm too lazy to find/build repair kits. AND I'M PANTS-SHITTINGLY RICH. Starting to see a connection? :v: What's the point of having an absurd amount of wealth if you're never going to spend it?
I drop my caps cap by cap in my hotel storage closet. When I open the door thousands of bottle caps pour out and I can swim in them. Hopefully TES: V's new game engine supports mass physics so we can fill bathtubs to the brim with gold coins.

Man is this some deep symbolic shit about greed or something, all these gold bars weighing 35 so I can only steal one or end up dying. In fact thinking about it who would I sell it to anyway? Oh wait, the Gun-runners Vendortron
The best way to make the covnersion is to wait till the gun runners have a large cap invetory, then pile on a few expensive weapons to even it out. Walk away with 5000 caps from the gold and 5000 caps worth of weaponry, and sell that weaponry to somebody else.

So one can steal them and I can sell my stuff for good. [editline]24th February 2011[/editline] But I guess your solution is good for consoles though.
Guys what the console command to remove an item from your inventory? I accidentaly gave myself an extra NCR emergency radio.
player.removeitem <base_id> <amount> player.removeitem 163171 1 Should do it. Don't use the first one obviously, that's just the correct format.

I know there's already one but it prevent their inventory from respawing.
[img_thumb]http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/599/43754373457.jpg[/img_thumb] I've taken a heavy dump, also done with the mod now. http://www.speedyshare.com/files/27040741/FakeGoldBars.esp player.additem xx000800 1 will add 1 fake goldbar replace xx with the numbers/letters of mod in load order open console, select an object or yourself with mouse and type: placeatme xx000800 50 will spawn 50 fake gold bars in the world
[sp]Dead money would have been so great if the only bars in the vault were fake (full weight, no value) except for a single bar on a table.[/sp]
The only problem I had with Dead Money is [sp]that the companions were just about bipolar. I'd been nice to Christine and Dean but they absolutely hated me in every way because I'd said one thing not full-on good to Dean once and unless I misheard Christine flipped a shit in the end because when asking who she was looking for I'd suggested 'Girlfriend?' and the dialogue options seemed to indicate it was right too. It wasn't until the ending that I found out the truth. I had to kill them both and even with 80+ in several dialogue useful skills (Speech, repair, science, barter) there was no way to even talk to Christine beyong 'i kill u now k?'[/sp] Oh and that you can't go back.
This fucking bullshit with Dog/God being broken is fucking pissing me off. I tried restarting the quest like 3 times but I still get the same fucking bug.
They announced another DLC, that somehow links to FO3. :20bux: on [sp]The East coast BOS, or maybe fawkes.[/sp]
Although the concept of a character from Fallout 3 showing up as a possible companion is nifty, I don't think they'd give us someone who was already a comp- Waaait. Fallout NV takes place only four years after Fallout 3, and contains a faction which liberally utilizes female slaves. The player-character in Fallout 3 can sell specific people into slavery for fun and profit. A Legion-experienced, tough as nails[sp]Bumble[/sp]for a companion would be the best savegame-bonus concept ever. [editline]02:08[/editline] Also, it would have been nice if Dead Money let you[sp]bring the companions back with you, or at least let you encounter them later. It's kind of strange to not allow Christine and Veronica to meet up, despite them both confiding in the Courier about being forcefully broken apart before.[/sp]
I downloaded the DLC and it just keeps saying "Download starting" wat do?
I seem to have forgotten to post to hold a spot in this thread so I can read it. On topic, I'm instaling Fallout as the MEGAHUGE install.
I downloaded the DLC and it just keeps saying "Download starting" wat do?
Restart Steam :buddy:
[sp]It wasn't until I had locked Father Elijah in the vault and fled to the surface that I made the connection between his name and BoS background and Veronica's mentor and ex head of the Brotherhood. Then I was like woooah. It hadn't even occured to be that he was BoS because I'd taken different dialogue paths until he showed up in person in the robes. Mind blown.[/sp] Also I was at about 490/250 weight when the game dropped my entire original inventory into my enormous pockets on top of all the cool stuff I'd collected. I really liked the DLC at the very start when you were first finding weapons and the atmosphere of a dead resort filled with dead treasure hunter scavengers was a lot stronger. Then there was a lull where I had a few guns but no ammo, but by the end I'd found that one stash with about 80 microfusion cells and never needed anything other than the holorifle. It really put back the value of shitty weapons at the start. I'll miss you, Police Pistol.
Can someone help me? My Pip-Boy is broken when I open it I don't see it. I tried reinstalling it that did not work.
Did you happen to use a Remove pipboy mod before?
Can someone help me? My Pip-Boy is broken when I open it I don't see it. I tried reinstalling it that did not work.
player.additem 15038 1 Will work, I think.. I'm an idiot so yeah there's a 75 percent chance I'm wrong.
Did you happen to use a Remove pipboy mod before?
I had a mod that turned it into the old Pip-Boy from the first Fallout I think I uninstalled it and then my Pip-Boy was not there. [editline]24th February 2011[/editline] I can lift up my arm as if I opened my Pip-Boy but it's just not there.
Anyone else from Europe (besides UK) not being able to purchase Dead Money? Is there a way I can buy it before the regional release? [editline]24th February 2011[/editline]
There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance.
I get this when I want to fulfill my transaction. [editline]24th February 2011[/editline] http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:Thirsty-Duck/Dead_Money_today_in_US,_tomorrow_in_Europe._PC_version_also_on_Direct2Drive
The add-on is not available for the 1C/Cenega PC version released in Russia, Czech Republic and Poland, nor for imported Bethesda versions of the game if you happen to live in any of these countries.
What the fuck Cenega you enormous dicks, first you don't allow me to buy DLC for Fallout 3 and now you refuse to move your ass and make a localized version of Dead Money? Fuck. Can anyone in the US gift me Dead Money and I'll send them 10$ over PayPal? Pretty please?

I just finished it, was pretty good. I'll answer my own questions for others on the see-saw about purchasing.
Some questions. 1) How long is Dead Money? (Took me about five hours I suppose. I played an hour or so each night since its release.) 2) Does it add a fair amount of content outside of missions? (It adds a fair amount, there's a few new weapons, a cool vending machine system that's sorta like Dead Space mixed with BioShock, there's interesting NPCs and lots of dialogue, there's also some new armor too and the ghost people are awesome.) 3) How's the story? (It was predictable but it wasn't really cliche in my opinion. It felt sort of like Borderlands in terms of going on a treasure hunt) 4) Are there side quests or is it a straight linear fragfest? (Didn't run into any side quests but you can explore a bit, so it's somewhat linear but that's okay.) 5) Is it a proper release, or a shitty straight console-port DLC? (Depends. I had problems getting to to even start, and got a random CTD once in the Villa. Wouldn't say it's a console-port DLC but it's not as polished as it could've been either.) 6) In your opinion, is it worth the buy? (Yeah. It's as long as most $60.00 games are which is sad. It's fairly priced at 10 but it's probably best if you wait for it to go on sale but who knows when that will be.)
Also, anyone else like Dean's voice actor?
Any chance on gifting the DLC to me? Pleeease, I'll refund it! :gonk:
I think someone probably should make a mod to use the companions outside of the Sierra Madre city.
