In slightly-fallout related news, I managed to hold one of my sister's soft toys hostage in exchange for a drawing of the outcast power armor from Fallout 3.

Just use the cowboy repeater in VATS, two or three shots should be enough to kill one if shot in the wings.

I use Colt 1911 with hollow-point bullets, two shots atleast should be enought even for the large ones.

Either a mod or he's referring to the 9mm pistol because it kinda looks like a Colt 1911 (even though its not)

For your future knowledge it's a browning hi-power, colt 1911 doesn't have a ring hammer and is chambered in .45

My bad, I meant the 9mm. I keep confusing those two because they're quite similiar.

If you have adequate stats to be using them, the Hunting Shotgun or its unique variation, Dinner Bell, as well as the Flamer work good for Cazadors. Though you do have to get close, so maybe not.
a while ago i started a new game in new vegas and i had boone with me i also had a lever-action shotgun
which i was running low on ammo for and it was nighttime (in game time) i think i was near the imapah race track and i got jumped by a pack of 5 nightstalker pups and 3 mature nightstalkers. after i killed 4 of them i ran out of ammo, so i used that gun, i mean the gun called "that gun" (pistol cambering 5.56 rounds)
so i sed "fuck it" unequiped my gun and started to punch nightstalkers lets just say those nightstalkers wount be stalking anything any more. it was like punch out lol
also why cant i find any incendiary grenades i found fuck tones of them in my other save
The .223 pistol is the shit now :love: I still like the 12.7mm better though. They both look kinda dumb in Firstperson, but I play in 3rd so it's not a big deal.
But still, the best weapon in the game is without a doubt the Ranger Sequoia. Anyone who disagrees is silly.
I made the horribly wrong decision of giving Boone the (powered up and nicely repaired) Holorifle and MF cells, since I needed some room in the inventory.
Why is it a horrible decision, you might ask? Because it made him [I]fucking bloodthirsty[/I].
We were hanging out together around Sloan, because I wanted to see how my new Anti-materiel rifle w/ incendiary ammo worked against Deathclaws. I set Boone as "passive". Except he wanted the motherfuckers dead.
He charged at them, finishing one off with about 3 shots. I attacked the remaining ones, but Boone was quicker, since he dealt 2/3rds of the damage to every deathclaw.
So I took him (and my rifle) to Dead Wind Cavern. Absolute total annihilation. The Legendary Bastard barely reached us, his family is now a bunch of fiery corpses or puddles of blue fizzy ash.
I think I broke something.

I think the AI has a thing for Deathclaw death. ED-E would not stop attacking the bastards at the quarry no matter what stance he was in. So many deaths in such a short time.
I just thought "fuck this" and went to the lake another way, it meant more swimming, but at least I got to blow the shit up out of some Lakelurks with Thump Thump!
I use Mercy with incendiary rounds to kill Cazadors. Not that it's particulary effective or anything, but simply because unleashing waves of exploding firey death on the bastard things pleases me so.
After a while the companions starts becoming a burden when the weaknesses of their a.i becomes more and more clear, I have long time ago abandoned them and went my own ways.

It's something to do with your transparency multisampling video option. Either you need to turn multisampling on or off, likely the opposite of what you have right now/.
I remember seeing the asphalt in Fallout 3 look like that with AA mutlisampling on.
