It's all right now. Turns out they brought out a patch to fix the loading problem but I had to fix the save by playing it on the unpatched version of the game and re-saving.
Oh. Happy playing with the patched version, than!
Wish I could patch mine. FUCK HAVING TO PAY FOR XBOX LIVE

Is it 'than' or 'then'?
I keep forgetting.

I hope there really is a stack of M1911s like that in the DLC, I'm assuming this is a game play screen shot.

You don't have to have the paid version of Xbox Live to download patches - mine updates fine.
Can somebody confirm if the G.E.C.K works?
Wonderful, all my uni assignments are due in the day before. Plenty of free time :v: (who needs revision?)

Holy mother of god are those models in a Gamebryo RPG with collision boxes which aren't eight times the size of the mesh?
I suspect hijinks are afoot :colbert:
No shenanigans there. Just bump the table and watch as the actual collision meshes kick in, causing the guns to magically float or pop off the table.
So... is it safe to download the patch on the 360 now? Or will it still delete my Dead Money stuff
I heard something about the newest patch deleting stuff and crashing like mad but i have had no problems so far on the 360 other than it freezing once.

I hate that shit. Engines can be modified, so I don't blame it on the Gamebryo engine, just crummy programmers (no offense Bethesda employees). Good thing Bethesda bought Id. Hopefully they will get the god programmer and aerospace engineer, John Carmack, to clean up and perfect the codes.
Going through and playing FO3 again for old times sake. Is it sad that when I finished Mothership Zeta I couldn't find the exit so I just coc'd to roughly the cell the crash site was in?

It is a bit sad but Zeta had shit map design. Took me an hour or two just to find the exit.

yeah, sure he will
[editline]3rd May 2011[/editline]
Oh yeah, my 13 year old sister started playing FO3 for some reason, she pretty much blazed thorough the main quest without doing any sidequests and when she finished she came up to me and said 'Is that it? You just die from radiation? How lame.'
thankfully I was on hand with my GOTY disc to install broken steel :holy:
Epic New Vegas DLC Info
I had mutiple orgasms and covered my house in jizz.
Well, now I can't get Cass as a companion since I did 'There Stands the Grass' before 'You Can Depend on Me'...
Fuck I'm poor. (I can't buy the DLC).
I looked up the songs in conelrad... I can't fucking believe Marty Robbins made one of those songs.
Vault 11 is the best vault.
That's like the only thing that made me laugh today
Here's the story of Vault 11:
[sp]
The vault habitants had to sacrifice 1 person every year, or god knows what will happen. This happened for many years, until there were like 5 or 4 people left. One of the remaining survivors said "Fuck this, we're not going to sacrfice anybody anymore". Then an automated system came on saying:
"Congratulations, citizens of Vault 11! You have made the decision not to sacrifice one of your own. You can walk with your head held high knowing that your commitment to human life is a shining example to us all. And to make that feeling of pride even sweeter, I have some exciting news. Despite what you were led to believe, the population of Vault 11 is not going to be exterminated for its disobedience. Instead, the mechanism to open the main vault door has now been enabled, and you can come and go at your leisure. But not so fast! Be sure to check with your overseer to find out if it's safe to leave. Here at Vault-Tec, your safety is our number one priority."[/sp]
According to the holotapes I picked up.

Fuck, half the games I own are gifts.
I want the new DLC, but I spent my money on a Pre-order for OOT3D :saddowns:
I won't have 10 dollars when it comes out

Today we’re excited to shed light on New Vegas’ upcoming game add-ons: Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, and Lonesome Road.
As a bonus, we’ve got the first officially released screenshot for Honest Hearts. This DLC will be out on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC in two weeks (May 17th), and users should now be able to grab the proper game update to play the content.
Read the press release below and stay tuned for more information on all three add-ons.
BETHESDA SOFTWORKS REVEALS DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT PLANS FOR FALLOUT®: NEW VEGAS™
Three Additional Add-on Packs Releasing in Coming Months
for Xbox 360, PlayStation®3 system and Windows PCs
May 3, 2011 (Rockville, MD) – Bethesda Softworks®, a ZeniMax® Media company, today announced three downloadable content packs will be released in the coming months for Fallout®: New Vegas™. The three packs will be released simultaneously for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, and Windows-based PCs.
Honest Hearts™, Old World Blues™ and Lonesome Road™ will further expand upon Fallout: New Vegas. Fallout: New Vegas takes all the action, humor and post-apocalyptic grime and grit of this legendary series, and raises the stakes.
Available on May 17, Honest Hearts takes you on an expedition to the unspoiled wilderness of Utah’s Zion National Park. Things go horribly wrong when your caravan is ambushed by a tribal raiding band. As you try to find a way back to the Mojave, you become embroiled in a war between tribes and a conflict between a New Canaanite missionary and the mysterious Burned Man. The decisions you make will determine the fate of Zion.
In Old World Blues, releasing in June, you will discover how some of the Mojave’s mutated monsters came to be when you unwittingly become a lab rat in a science experiment gone awry. You’ll need to scour the Pre-War research centers of the Big Empty in search of technology to turn the tables on your kidnappers or join forces with them against an even greater threat.
Lonesome Road, available in July, brings the courier’s story full circle when you are contacted by the original Courier Six, a man by the name of Ulysses who refused to deliver the Platinum Chip at the start of New Vegas. In his transmission, Ulysses promises the answer as to why, but only if you take one last job –a job that leads you into the depths of the hurricane-swept canyons of the Divide, a landscape torn apart by earthquakes and violent storms. The road to the Divide is a long and treacherous one, and of the few to ever walk the road, none have ever returned.
Reviews of Fallout: New Vegas have called the game as “an utterly essential purchase” (MSN UK) and as “addictively, rambunctiously fun” (Entertainment Weekly). The Associated Press awarded it a 4 out of 4 stars and said “Bottom Line: It’s a Blast”, while GameSpy gave it 4.5 out of 5 stars and called Fallout: New Vegas “one of the best games of the year.”
All downloadable content for Fallout: New Vegas will be available for download on Xbox LIVE® for 800 Microsoft Points, the PlayStation®Network for $9.99, and both Steam and Direct2Drive for $9.99.
Published by Bethesda Softworks and developed at Obsidian Entertainment, Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, Lonesome Road, and Fallout: New Vegas have been rated M for Mature by the ESRB. Help
I have a problem with my character.
After finishing Dead Money I realized I have toggled "tgm" (god mode) and sighed, but when I took it off, my health started rapidly decreasing (similarly to the toxic red cloud in the DLC). I'm already out of Sierra Madre and I really don't want to load a save from in there, but then again, I don't want to make a new character. How would it be possible to respawn or refresh your character with a console command?
Ugh, I wish my computer that can run New Vegas at a decent framerate didn't break on me RIGHT AFTER BUYING THE DLC.
So... is it safe to download the patch on the 360 now? Or will it still delete my Dead Money stuff
I wouldn't risk it. I can get the patch to work but it is still a bit dodgy. Some of the time I try to load the game and it won't. I have to delete the patch, play, save the game and then redownload the patch to fix it.
Yeah, Vault 11 was the best.
