So many races... Which one is the best :froggonk:
There is no "best race" though, some races better suit other professions due to stats and racial abilities. Personally I liked human due to the all around stats, however I had a blast playing on my froglok monk.
Wait, I don't understand this new system at all. If I upgrade my account to platinum, do I still need to subscribe inorder to get gametime, or do I get gametime as I upgrade my account to platinum. Goddamn it, why can't they bring back the good ol' pay 15 bux a month for errything EDIT: Disregard this, I suck cocks. Also I bought platinum just now, fuck yes
They do have the 15 bucks a month. Bronze is the free account, no costs at all. Silver is a upgrade for bronze, a one time 10 dollar fee is charged and you get access to more spell tiers. Gold is the regular 15 dollar a month sub. You get everything like normal. Platinum is the 200 bucks a year sub, comes with everything including some bonuses like free 500SC every month, more character slots and such.
Ohmygod THIS IS THE FUNNEST MMO I'VE EVER PLAYED Also, what were you on about for it being unoptimized?I've had pretty much the best FPS in an MMO ever from this and I have everything on highest possible, the hell?Battle of the Immortals has a slower framerate than this!
I played this long ago, got a few characters in-game, but I logged in (Bronze) to find that there were none. If I upgrade to either Silver or Gold, do I regain my old characters? Or are they already lost? Cause I had some good stuff on 'em
Is housing available on the free version? I really like games that have houses.
already level 22/23 Wizard/Carpenter(to those who don't know, it goes by level ??/??, first digits is your main level, second digits is your tradeskill). This game is good, and I'm already into a nice guild that is level 53... big guild and I also like the in-game voice chat.
I played this game until about 2 years ago, when I resumed a few days ago, I found that all of my original characters were gone. I was wondering if anyone else experienced that, or know if I would regain the characters if I get Silver / Gold / Platinum.
I would really appreciate regaining those characters again. So if anyone knows, please reply.

I think to get the characters back is you have to play a regular sub, free accounts have to start over because a lot of features and spells are restricted. Odd, how they wanted to put advertisements in APB's chat, but none of their other games.

Meaning they still exsist, just on servers only available for paying people. So, I think I'll stay with this char for a while, just started getting into crafting again. alota fun.
My brother loved this game. I'm going to tell him it's free now.
My brother loved this game. I'm going to tell him it's free now.
The only truly restrictive thing I've found about EQ2X as a free player is having two bags, only being able to access spells up to adept tier, chat, and broker restrictions. You can get rid of most of those problems with a single $10 purchase (silver), which gives you unlimited chat, another bag slot, 2 shared bank slots, expert spell tier, and another character slot. Other than that, you still get everything up to, but not including Sentinel's Fate.
