I can't wait for this, my friends have been bugging me to play LoZ:OoT for a while now. And now that it's being released on the 3DS, I really have no excuse.

You didn't so far? Damn. It doesn't matter if you like it or not, it's one of the defining games of the last century and it's considered to be the best game of all time by a lot of people.
Play it, you won't regret it.
And specs are looking good, a bit more RAM and VRAM would be nice though.
Enough with the rumored prices and launch dates for the 3DS already, let's get official. Nintendo just announced a February 26 ship date in Japan for ¥25,000 (about $298). It'll then land in the US and Europe in March for an undisclosed amount. Launch colors are aqua blue or cosmo black. At a press event in Japan, Nintendo demonstrated the ability to take your picture using the 3DS' front-facing camera and then automatically convert the image into a Mii -- you can edit it too using Mii Studio on the 3DS. You can even merge two photos into a single image if you choose. Images can then be exported as QR codes in wireless "tag mode" or as a file to a bundled 2GB SD card.
Ninty also announced a special edition Super Mario DSi LL (no hardware changes) set to launch for ¥18,000 in Japan on October 28th. It also confirmed that a Wii Remote Plus is in development and will be announced at a date some time in the future. Finally, a virtual console-style store will serve up downloadable Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games on the 3DS.
Is it me or does the 3DS look better then the wii
March.
Not too far. I wonder what homebrew will be made.
There will be a flash cart for the 3DS. Or something of the kind.
Ah damn, I somehow hoped that it would be released before the holidays. Well, march isn't that far away, I guess.
I hope there is i'll miss my homebrew and being able to carry all my games (in backup form) around with me
It's mostly because there are so many games that I think "this should be on a portable"
just my two cents though.

Well okay maybe they're mostly just 5mb games that aren't much, but still. I'd love to see a full length Touhou on 3DS. The DS one was alright, but only 5 levels.
The 3DS rips will be huge compared to DS anyway
64MB RAM?
Finally, the web browser was a pain on the DSi due to the lack of RAM and hopefully we will get a flash player for the web browser.

God damn, RE looks faptacular. And Zelda, can't wait. Although Links face is strange :v:
Megaman Legends 3.
Yeah, now I definitely have to buy a 3DS.

Looks fucking amazing.
If they make an F-Zero game for the 3DS I'm gonna cream my fucking pants.
It's more pricey than I expected, but it really does look to be worth it.
I expected that price, but I think it's worth it. Hopefully the games wont be 80$ though.

Honestly don't worry about the Japanese price, Nintendo always charges WAY more in Japan in comparison to the US prices, for instance at launch the DSi XL was 20,000 yen, which converts to $230-$240, whilst it actually only cost $189.99 at launch in the US. I'm assuming the same thing will happen here 25,000 yen is $290-$300 but will probably launch in the US at $249.99
I am confused about the release dates, as gamestop said that preorders are shipped 29th of september? Thus today?
If not, rate me books.
I think it's too expensive for me, I will probably wait until the price goes down.
Holy shit resident evil looks amazing. Also why does Re have such amazing graphics when 70% of the other game's graphics are shit? That racing game looks horrible.

Resident Evil shows what happens when Devs actually try, and Ridge Racer shows what happens when they get lazy. I saw a comparison somewhere else which basically proves that Ridge Racer 3DS is a direct port of the iPhone game.

As I thought dude.I never liked zelda or megaman stuff and I really want the 3DS to get a nice variety of games since the graphics are decent. Also is this console better than the Wii or PS2?
Get me some Homebrew software that can play GBA games and i'm happy with getting one.
Oh man I would love to play Starcraft 64 on it.It's still not playable on the PSP.
Oh, thank God it's released after the holidays so I can amass some money.
I'm just worried about the price of the games themselves.

So you want unauthorized and unsupported software to justify your purchase AND disregard the fact that GB/C/A games will be sold over a virtual console-type store. Heh.

You cool
legit

The conclusion after quite a few discussions over the leaked specs are that CPU, GPU and RAM wise its around Xbox(1) level, maybe slightly better thanks to the smaller overall resolution, but with the added benefit of xbox360/ps3 style shader support
