I'm quite hopeful of 3DS. With the higher specs than usual for a handheld, 3rd party developers might start pulling off some awesome stuff. With SNES and GBA there were a load of awesome games due to advanced for the time hardware.

Epic Games has a thing against Nintendo. Not sure why, but they'd rather optimize UE3 for a fucking iTem than an actual gaming platform.
Fuck, a Wii can handle UE3 with enough optimization.

igadgets are casual gaming platforms. they won't find much revenue on it considering all other consoles and handhelds are cheaper than it and a nice PC can be built for that price.
