Is anyone else having the "This game is Unavailable" problem? Also, gotta find a .08 to.09 patch.

I put downloads to 4.08m and 4.09 in the OP.

Let's use 4.08m for the time being if you make a server.. I foresee problems with installation. Can I install this 4.09m if I have AAA 1.1 installed already?

The server will not be up today. I still have to get 4.08m and AAA. (I had to reformat) The server will also be running 4.08m.

In your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\il 2 sturmovik 1946, there should be a .bat version switcher. Just switch it to the desired version.

Oh god, I thought I was used to flight sims with Orbiter and Flight Sim 2002 along with Combat Flight Sim 1/2... IL-2 has me barely able to take off! And the MP format is confusing ._.

Just hang in there! It's confusing at first, but you'll get used to it. I recommend the mission pack in the OP for getting used to playing.

do you have to start a server via the game? And if not are there server files for linux?

If i (hopfully) get everything working corrently, i should be able to setup a fp server on my dedi server [editline]03:07AM[/editline] Wine doesn't like il2 dedi server, and il2 dedi server doesn't like wine.. :frown:
