Says that link is broken... I went to the AAA site and downloaded part 4, but when I went to install it tells me that I need AAA_Community_Installer_v4.rar volume to continue...
Edit: Never mind, I figured it out. The file was named differently because it was downloaded at a different place. I just had to change the name to what it was looking for.

The xbox version is an entirely different game. I can't imagine being able to play this game with fewer than 40 buttons.

I got a 360 controller for my pc this christmas, is it possible to use it for flying. I am aware of the immense amount of buttons for IL-2 but I figured I can map only the most essential to flying to my 360 controller.
Perfectly possible. I use my 360 controller for flying, shooting, and changing speed, and use the keyboard for more complicated tasks, such as turning the engine on, changing flaps, and adjusting radiator positions.
How is this game? I'm a huge lover of ww2 games and a friend of mine is considering getting this. Also, can you still play online on them links or am I better buying for £4.99?

What's Xpadder? It worked right off the bat for me.
So I decided to record some multiplayer with the ingame recorder. And got a good kill, then I replayed it and recorded it with Fraps.

I flew the Zero, he flew the Me-110. Poor guy made the mistake of pulling up right in front of me too hard and started spinning, lost a lot of speed and let me rip on his plane easily. He fell to the ground a few seconds after.

It's a program that simulates keyboard presses through your 360 controller. But since you said it worked right off the bat there is no use in getting that. Good news for me!
So I just joined your group and tried to start a game, but apparently you lot do not understand the meaning of the word "organized" because the chat was anything but. Albeit it was a nice experience having to keep my pinky on the shift key to get anything across, I doubt I will be doing it again.
We've got rid of 2nd, so it's far more orderly now.
