Anyone have a control setup for the Saitek X52? I've been fiddling for a while but I can't really figure out the best config. I have the engine, chock, canopy, and wing fold controls and such on the bottom switches and the FoV set on the scroll wheel on the throttle, with gunner view toggle on the pinkie and the fire controls on the trigger and black thumb button but I can't seem to get a 100% comfortable setup. It feels like when I want to align my sights that the joystick is being too imprecise or jerky because a little twist and the yaw kicks in.
Should I get AAA Version 1.1 or 1.2? If 1.1, what's the difference?

7,3% on 1.2, it has been running for 5 minutes, 200kb/s using torrent.
Yeah I got like 500 on 1.2 on a torrent, but 1.1 seems to be going really slowly.
You can take down an La-7 with a Spit or a Zero.
It may be difficult seeing how they have great firepower, turning, and speed, but it's possible. You can't out-turn a Zero.

Yeah, that dogfight with my Zero and his LA-7 started with a head-on pass. We both fired at eachother, mostly missing, I did a tight loop while he tried to turn sideways and it got me behind him quite easily. Then it became a shooting gallery. The Zero has a horrible climb rate so if you're below some dude when he attacks you then you're fucked as you can't follow him up after his boom and zoom.

Run the il2setup.exe in the game folder and try changing between DirectX and OpenGL.

But what I've noticed is that the Zero's 20mm shots travel slower than the 20mms of other planes like the me109. I have to lead more with it.
