You first record the thing you want to record. Press esc ingame, go to "start recording", type the filename you want and press save. When you want to stop, press stop recording from the esc menu. When you want to view go to the main menu and then "play record" or something similar, remember to put all the manual time and view options on so you can fast forward and also look at other planes and so on. Then press play and go ahead and watch.

I figured that part out but I don't know the controls, that is, how do I fast forward, fly around freely etc.
Anyone know why I can't connect to any servers? It always says that I have timed out and I have already opened ports and disabled firewall.

Shift+F2 switches between 3rd person views of friendly planes, Ctrl+F2 for enemy planes
Shift+F1 switches your cockpit view
The keys to the left of the enter key control time

theGregson here, as I was on the server...TB-3 for life, god today was pretty epic. Who knew a heavy bomber could take off from a carrier....Dave :P
Played on the Skies of Fire server earlier, had a pretty good time. Only shot down two guys (and all I did was finish them off), I did manage to give a B-17 a major fuel leak in each engine, allowing five other planes to blow it into smithereens as it lost speed and altitude. His gunner gave me an engine fire in return, but I think it was a fair deal. :v:
Going after slow bombers is basically bait for the fighters to take down the planes moving in to intercept.

But on the plus side you do get a chance to make big things go boom.
So I finally decided to stop lurking and get the AAA mod and patches and crap
And now the AAA mod is in torrent form and wants me to register on some shitty website

I prefer taking out one wing if I'm in a swarm of enemies to save ammo, and if I'm closer to base, I throw everything at its engines.

You don't have to have it to play, as far as I know, but you won't have access to the planes it adds in, as far as I know.
Right but I think I even looked at the OP today and saw the filefront (or planet) links to the rar

Okay the link I posted you need to dl them all. 1.2 is available as a torrent but requires 1.1 first.
