The X series are good, But I couldn't stand the stick, It came without Mounts or suctions for one, but even after I got them It felt uncomfortable compared to the Cyborg, so when I go flying, I got my Cyborg for Pitch and Roll, X45 for Throttle, flaps, Trim and moving the IR camera around on a Missile's camera in Lomac, and My Microsoft racing wheel's pedals for Rudder
So I'm on skype right now if anyone has time and can teach me the basics.

The Cyborg joysticks always seemed to me that they wouldn't be comfortable to grip and use. Apart from that I use the joystick for all the elevator, aileron, and rudder controls as well a dozen and a bit of key bindings for weapons systems as well as simple functions such as engines, flaps, gears, arresting hook, and chocks.

I guess it kind of depends on how high you're sitting in comparison with the surface the stick is on, for me that hasn't changed a bit in 10 years, so neither will my stick =D

Time to get out the joystick and play this again. Once I've patched it up to 4.09, what server do you gents usually play on?
So yesterday night HellSoldier taught me how to fly and somewhat fight. You know, just the ropes. That ten mins. of flight time online was better than three hours of trying to learn to takeoff in single player.
is there an FP server? I have been playing on skies of valor and stuff as ClavusElite if you ever see me.

I play on 4.08 and all the severs I go to works fine. Stay with it.
