I guess my answer wasn't adequate enough? Maybe because it assumed he knew anything about helicopters.. Oh well.

baw? Its a WWII fighter sim, not a helicopter sim.
Why is it that planes tend to veer towards the right when left alone?
Propeller spins.
I feel like I'm cheating since I'm flying a MiG-15. Its cannons flame up a B29 so easily.

That's irrelevant.
That's irrelevant.
So was the way you answered his question.
Hyperlobby cannot detect my game.. I select the right exe but it tells me that it hasn't been found.

Sure you're choosing the right IL2? You must choose "Forgotten Battles", not "IL2 sturmovik".
So was the way you answered his question.
The way I answered his question wasn't irrelevant at all, considering you answered it with the same answer but in a more-words-than-necessary way. Mine merely poked fun at the fact that helicopters produce so much torque that it is not correctable by the pilot, and only by the addition of a tail rotor does it become flyable.

Yup, I am. Hyperlobby was messed up so I tried re-installing it. Now it's telling me:
The file:
C:\Windows\system32\mswinsck.ocx is currently used by Windows! You may not install it now. You may skip this file or cancel the installation.
This also happened when I first installed it. I clicked Skip but it messed up my Hyperlobby.
I'm on windows 7 btw. Is it compatable?

Run the hyperlobby installer as admin

Hyperlobby on Windows 7 64-bit Build 7600 never worked for me and just gave me headaches and believe me I tried every possible combination of compatibility options
Use Xfire

Thanks.

It gave me runtime errors 0 and 6, listed on the website as 'Bad installation' - even though I tried installing it from the executables in both mirrors.
Also, how do you skin planes to show up on servers? I want to make a pink A6M7 just cause.
Any mods that unlock the other planes that AAA did not?
They're is a few that I would really like to fly
Which? I got a mod to make the HE111z fly. I'd have to dig for it though.
One was a modded JU-88 (Miste)l or something of that nature that had a mounting rail for a small plane on top, and the large twin fuselage, (7?) engined plane, as well as others.
Man nobody is ever on the server anymore.

gotta catch it at the right time
Well, we are all in school. Wait until the weekend. As for me, I have a snowday.

Same, are you U.K?
Let's fly some shit and crash even more shit?
Just ot IL2 installed.
The instructions for AAA are confusing me even more.
[editline]09:45PM[/editline]
Server doesn't seem to be up.
Same, are you U.K?
No he is Illinois.
Just installed AAA onto 4.08m(I think that's what it was. I got it from STEAM). Is that what I was meant to do?
Just install it, then run the 4.08 version changer batch file in the main IL-2 directory and you should be good to go for playing on the server that these people play on. I'd probably play, but I don't feel like trying to figure out what's wrong with my joystick right now.
I'd gladly join the server but I'm at school at the moment :buddy:
Why is my aaa install in Russian
[editline]03:41PM[/editline]
Also change the fucking map
I've got AAA 1.1 and 1.2 to work with 4.09...
Works like a charm! And the IL-2 Version Changer works wonders too! Just copy the files.sfs on a safe spot from the 4.09 patch, install AAA mod, 1.1 (1.2 optional), and go into the folder _Game Switchers/4.09 Mods OFF (Original)/"and paste the copied files.sfs file here".
Then the game will properly switch between the original game, patch 4.08 and 4.09, using the IL-2 Version Switcher!
