Just lower your speed down to 20% to prepare for landing, and when you touch down, use the land brake.

Throttle down, lower your gear and flaps fully, and negate any lift by pushing down with the elevators. Having both the elevators and flaps out will give you enough drag to shear off speed pretty quickly. Also note you shouldn't approach the runway at too high an angle, because you'll have to drop further and it'll be much harder to loose speed. If you're desperate, opening the radiator also causes some drag.

Try Lock on: flaming cliffs 2. It is a addon that adds a new plane or two and vastly enhances them all. This game is Quality, not Quantity.
