I tried a campaign for some reason. First I tried the Royal Navy and the AI planes were teleporting to a launching thing on the carrier and it was launching them at speed off the ship. How the hell?
Unable to find out how to do that on the internet I tried an Imperial Japanese Army campaign, fly all the way to the ground target and about 5km away a plane from another of our squadrons swoops in from behind and tears my wing off.
The bastard!
Also I was Furohman on multiplayer earlier.

the one thing I don't like about this game is that I cant teleport to the mission after taking off.
so is it possible to play this on a laptop with keyboard or do i really need a joystick?
thinking of buying it (its like 7 bucks... so yeah) but how fun is it with just the arrow keys?

question for you guys cause this is the first time this has happened to me, ever.
Uhh, I was playing Dogfight on this server and two of the four spawn locations already had you on the runway etc but even with the engine on and throttle at 100% the plane doesn't budge at ALL. Any ideas on how to get rolling just in case this happens again?

wasn't the wheel brake and even if it was i'd still jitter around and whatnot. the plane just didn't budge, period. no rocking or anything.
Was it just for you, or everyone else as well? If it's just for you try restarting and rejoining the server, or try another server. If problem persists, I have no idea.

Some servers have mods which give have you chocks in on certain runways, try removing chocks next time. I'm probably wrong though.
Oh, and I need to ask something. Before I got Hsfx, I could make missions fine in the full mission builder. Now when I try and save them, I click save and save it to the directory, but when I try and exit it asks me if I want to save. If I click yes the box just closes, but upon clicking no, I leave the mission builder. If I leave the mission builder and try and load up my map, it just says that there is no map on the file :confused:

You sure you didn't have chocks on?
You will usually have chocks on when starting from carrier or when you start from runway so that you don't need to taxi there.
Okay so i bought this game. I have played it pretty much before, i know all the basics and i can takeoff, fly and land. and shoot bad guys.
I have a problem. I cannot use 1280x1024 resolution. there is no option for it.
The highest resolution i can set is 1280x960 32bit.

Same here, I think it's just that it's an old game and it isn't a feature. I don't mind though, 1280 x 960 scales fine on my monitor.
