I'm doing a Soviet P-39 campaign right now. The first mission was ridiculous but surprisingly fun, my little flight of four P-39s was somehow expected to take down a huge squadron of bombers with FW-190 escort.
After I got some altitude I saw them but they were flying higher than us so I almost got toasted by a 190 that dove straight for me, but luckily that AI wasn't on Ace level :v:.
After they passed us I took a chance and flew straight up to the formation and managed to hit a bomber twice with my 37mm cannon, I don't know if I got the kill or not. Three of the 190s flew after my wingman towards the ground or something (nice ai :rolleyes:) so I took the opportunity and managed to down two of them, while the rest of my flight flew right into the middle of the bomber formation and got smashed by the gunners after they downed a few. I thought all the 190s were gone only to see a couple fly out of the clouds and dive right on my ass again. I turned hard and the first one couldn't follow but his wingman flew past me and blew off my wing. I bailed but luckily I was inside friendly territory so it counted as a win.
Needless to say it was pretty intense :v:
I want Campaign where you can use that "Moonlander" plane, don't remember it's name but it's very agile and can easily change altitude.

Get a Saitek Cyborg Evo. It has twist rudder and plenty of buttons and it's pretty durable as well.

I use this ~5 years old Microsoft Force Feedback 2 and it's worked perfectly for me. Just throwing my own opinion here.
Everyone talking about fancy flying equipment. I just use my 360 controller since I am dirt cheap.

Yeah that's probably fine, just as long as it has rudder control since it helps a lot in aiming.

Bombing is fun if you know how to do it especially in a B17.
There is a mod where all the planes you can but don't have cockpits actually do have cockpits,I love the mod.
I've been told that the B17 is, "a good dive bomber".

That's just arcade servers, since everyone stacks Bf-109 or Spits, or FW's and they require no skill, and they have godly firepower.
