Okay, let me preface this by saying I really didn’t want to use this particular site, for obvious reasons.

This is a link to my to-do list, which is part to-do and part request. A few people have been volunteering their services for making game art, and even more have been complaining about game art, so since I have a lot of things planned, and I am in no way a ‘whiz’ when it comes to pixels, I created this to let people know what they could do if they wanted to help.
The reason I didn’t want to use this site is, of course, it’s the same one that Notch uses. But it’s the best one I could find that allows for public sharing, so, I wasn’t going to handicap myself out of the overwhelming need to be different.
But, if you do happen to make something, send it to brickologist@gmail.com, or in a ‘question’ to this blog. Happy spriting!
I'm currently working on the stone tablets on the list since I have nothing better to do. Will report in when I'm done.

Awesome. As you may have guessed, I'm going to do a bit with Alchemy/Magic.

See this as a early draft. I might improve it tomorrow if I have some time.

Also, I fully support this. Though I'm probably not gonna be able to remember any formulas. How about a ingame alchemy book with instructions/recipes inside?

Those are really cool. Could I request one with smooth edges, though? Only if you feel like it. I want to see which looks better.
As for a recipe book, one thing I've decided to do (And forgot about) was an in-game recipe list, that you add recipes to either by A. Crafting something, which automatically adds its recipe, or B. Do research. Research methods can be added via IRE, but the built in way will be by crafting research paper and using it, which will add a random recipe.
Maybe you could have some kind of special enemies later on that drop certain recipes? And I'll try to make it look a bit better tomorrow. Don't have much time now unfortunately.

That could work to. I don't know when I'm going to add NPC/Actors though.
So, care to give a link to your game so we can test it ?
That post still has bad reading and spelling ratings. :frown:
My current project for Brick is adding shops. The intermediate step between shops and not-shops is containers. There is only a single container added so far, a wooden crate, craftable with four wood. It holds four items.
That means shops are on their way, but I wanted to get this release out of the way before I continued. In addition to shops, a few bugs are fixed, and objects now support ‘Properties’. That is, variables that can be added to individual blocks. Not IRE-ed yet, but it will be.
Oh, and I’ve decided that I really will begin uploading .zips now. Checking out my thread down at Facepunch, I realize that that was a topic of discussion for about a page and a half.
One last thing. Brick is now 9280 lines of code. Now, I know that that has nothing to do with its quality, but I wanted to make an over 9000 joke. And that was it.
