It's your decision, which console is better. If you like PS3, buy it. If you like Xbox360, buy it. If you like both, buy both. Don't ask others for opinions, because in the end, you may be dissapointed.
It's just like I said that Big Rigs is an awesome game and you really need to buy it. You buy it and you will see the ending result.
Well, if its between the PS3 and Xbox 360, then i would for the the PS3, simply because of MGS, but that's just my opinion.
Get the one that has the exclusives you prefer. Personally, I prefer the games the PS3 has to offer, and it's a really nice blu-ray player and multimedia hub.
I preffer PS3. Thats my opinion. I dont give a shit what anyone elses opinion on the matter is. I dont see why anyone else would.

They are the same other than the fact that the xbox has a better online system at a higher price, where the ps3 has a lower quality one at a cheaper price.
I prefer tossing mud at a wall over PS3 and 360.

Who says PC is not 'friend-friendly'? Games like Split/Second, Blur, FIFA 11 and Left 4 Dead allows you to play with friend on the same PC with split-screen. You can always arrange a LAN party.

I chose PS3 but I own a 360. PS3 has really good exclusives that would never ever come to PC, and unless you like Halo enough to justify the purchase, 360 doesn't really.

Honestly, I've owned both PS3 and Xbox 360, but I'd have to go with the 360. Paying for online was a real annoyance; but imo the controls for the 360 are so much smoother. I've always found the Playstation controller to be a bit clunky and confusing. They both have some great exclusives so I can't argue there.
Either way I got rid of them both to get a better PC, which I don't regret at all.
I would probably get a 360 if I had the chance though, to play with some of my friends online.

PS3. I like the controls better, free online, and a generally really good multimedia system.

No, you just need knowledge of hardware and go looking for discounts and such. Then again, you only have to buy a PC once, you can then upgrade. And you sure can get a decent CPU, GPU and some RAM for under 450$.

It's a matter of opinion, really. Both consoles have their own individual pros and cons. You can't be so black and white as to say that one console is definitely better than the other.
