Nah, best way is to enter the store, pull out a gun, either the person will cower, then you rob and run, or the person will take out their gun, then you run to them and punch them with one fast combo, and they DIE.

For some reason, that sounded like a good idea to the Mafia 2 devs, but anyways, after one punch combo the store is yours, and you can get out before cops come because there were no gunshots.

yeah, the best way to earn more money is robbing gun shops, the reward is 400 plus. Push the old man to the corner and closely monitor the blue cop icon on the radar so that the blue highlight alert doesn't trigger when you start punching. After robbing the ammo and cash, there are sufficient time to flee and walk out.

Your saves are corrupted.
If your gonna use mods then backup your saves before using them.

You don't have a DLCs Folder because you don't have any other dlc.

Here's what you do:
Go to where ever you have Mafia2 installed e.g
"C:\Program Files\Mafia 2\"

Now go to e.g
"C:\Program Files\Mafia 2\pc"

Then create a folder called:
"dlcs"

Then copy the "cnt_lexan" folder into "dlcs".

Now if your using steam none of this will work.
Therefore you must crack your game or use this steam api emu to trick your game into thinking Steam is running:

This may or may not work.
