Mafia II Megathread - v2 - Games

Finally beat Jimmy's Vendetta, I actually thought it was pretty fun.

I loved the huge reference to the first game in this one. If you played the first, you know exactly what I am talking about.

I keep crashing in freeroam.

Does anyone else experience split sec lag when turning the corner to the right before reaching Joe apartment at 3rd storey after coming up from the stair, I notice the lag everytime I made that corner. my fps is 50 to 60 though.

I just finished Jimmy's Vendetta and I honestly feel sorry for whomever had to create the last level. [sp]It unlocks that part of the map in the country-sideish looking part of town with a beautiful mansion.[/sp] It sucks that your hard work is limited to one shoot-em up level and then no one can go back and appreciate your hard work.

On Mafia 1 and i'm in that early car chase, I shot the guys wheels before the mission in the building but when i aim at him in the car i shoot the windows but he doesn't die :@

Run him off the road, and then he'll get out and have a proper shootout.

Why aren't they doing a continuation to the story in DLC? It said in game that I was 66% of the way through when it ended.

The ending sucked

It's a great DLC material as it doesn't really have any connection to the main plot. I can bet my balls it will be released as a DLC.

So I just bought a GeForce 470 and a 1000W power supply, and now I'm able to run the demo on all high settings, but sadly.. With no PhysX, but that doesn't matter. Now, if only I had money left to rebuy it again. lol

Oh dear, this game put me in that Mafia mood. I've started watching a shitload of mafia films and tempted to replay the godfather on pc, had a good experience with it on PS2.

1000W on 470 is a bit overkill eh?

can someone tell me how to install the lua console? i keep getting a "cant find mafia.dll" error when trying to run a code
