Well having the game as a physical copy aint impossible as many stores are selling the game already. Yuo cant play the PC version yet without the crack, but you can play the XBOX version already. I doubt it is illegal to play the XBOX version if you legally bought it from the shop, but correct me if im wrong.

When i played the game i didint go the the yellow pete guy. i had only the pistol with some ammo, but didnt have any problems as when you kill the guys at the start you can pick up their guns and ammo. Sure it might be easier if you have better guns and more ammo at start but after trying a bit it aint too hard.

Replay the beginning part and just walk out of the apartment quickly, they won't notice it's you unless you run or they catch you in the apartment. There's no reason to use your gun.
