Just fucking say how were you playing the game before release without cracking it and you'll be fucking fine. How hard is that?
I like him, whoever he is, he has found the sore point, I'd be the same, legit or not, with the attitude of the moral few around here I would not provide any answers.

WHY CAN'T WE DO THIS?
So we went from bitching about piracy to bitching about hats? I love you Facepunch.
Ok explain something to me, if he works in a game store, he has access to the game, with a simple crack which BTW, isn't illegal, he could play it, so I'm confused about all the bans. :S
PS: Using a Crack isn't illegal, if he bought the game or at least paid to take a copy home from a store, then he owns that game, therefore, using a NO-DVD crack, or even making a copy of that game ASLONG as its for Personal use only! and as long as its for backup purposes, it's totally legal.

Fedora wont be a problem because not having one and having a suit would be fucking retarded.
There, we can stop bitching about it now.
Fedora wont be a problem because not having one and having a suit would be fucking retarded.

No it wouldn't, because none of the other characters without a fedora are retarded.
But of course, the logo has a fedora, so my argument is invalid. I'll stop now, honest.
It's 49,99€ in Steam though. Unless you are talking about the special edition.
Yeah special edition. but still, that price is more than 50USD. I bought it for someone else I talk to on IRC.

You don't own a game you have a license to use it
Well you can always buy the physical copy on online store for 30-35 euros

he could be wearing a trench coat so no...
also he'd look good in a tutu but that's just another story...
lmfao topics change like the mood swings of a woman on here.

Yeah I'd recommend it for European users. Steam overcharges.
Yeah special edition. but still, that price is more than 50USD. I bought it for someone else I talk to on IRC.
Well, most new games are 49,99€ even retail (at least here), while most new games are $49,99 retail in US, so i can see why Steam prices their games like they do right now.

considering how much shit was flipped by 2k after seeing people removed the DEMO TIME LIMIT
i'm sure you can guess their stance on cracking their game

I think the hat looks pretty fly with a trenchcoat, as it happens.
You don't own a game you have a license to use it
Then if by that, then you technically own that License, which references to the copy of said game. Which you are allowed to backup, and also use NO-DVD Cracks on, as long as its for Personal use, and not shared etc.
PLUS, check some countries laws, the illegal part of warez is the uploading, not the downloading part. (At least in some countries.)

Not quite true. When you purchase a game you only buy a license to play the game and in order to play the game you have to agree to the EULA. All game EULAs prohibit the user from altering the .exe files aka cracks.
Why so much hate against fedoras? They look cool.
