About 10 hours depending on how good you are but I'd say it could go upwards of 15 hours.
It personally took me 9.5 hours.

5.0. Short campaign, normal sized map, no sidemissions or minigames, no freeride or freeride extreme, shitty DLC System.
8 hours to beat it on hard.

You should have done it... The DLC are free, they come with the game, just each preorder place has a different pack. I don't know if that is considered warez but if we could gather all of the DLC that would be nice.

This isn't a fucking carnival. It didn't need minigames.
Took me about 13 hours on hard difficulty.
If you really just try to play blitz through the main mission, you can beat it under 10 hours. I did a lot of messing around though, collecting/tuning cars, collecting clothes, robbing stores.
I'd give it an 8/10
This game could have been a ten. The ending was disappointing. It was too sudden, and didn't really wrap up the story. And of course, the absence of freeride. Another thing is that there's not much you can do in the city other than the main missions, so even if there was a free ride, I don't think it would take long for you to become bored of it.
The way you guys talk about beating it on hard it doesn't sound hard at all.
I did it on medium and it was very easy.

I found it pretty hard, it had a similar feel to the first game during shoot outs because the AI had such amazing aim and they still do. Recently I was shooting some guy down a hallway and he falls over, to my dismay I realize that I have to reload so I take cover by the wall and the guy gets up and one shots me with a shotgun when he's at the other end of the damn hallway and I'm pretty much fully protected by the wall, god knows how he got such a great shot but I died instantly.

It's free so I doubt it's warez, But you can't even use them unless you activate the CD-key, I tried to use my friends Made man pack and it wouldn't let me, told me I needed to buy the DLC. (Which doesn't make sense, because it was free.)

So it comes down to: Mafia 2 (Special Edition or normal?) or Kane And Lynch 2 (mostly for multiplayer)

The multiplayer gamemodes look awesome though.

talked to my friend who finished the game, he said "look it's a fun game and it looks pretty good but GTA just has so much more complexity and life when you drive around."
I then said "well it's not supposed to be like GTA, it's meant to be a singleplayer linearish game and that's it."
he then said "yeah but GTA is cheaper, has a great storyline, is tons of fun outside of the story, and it lasts much longer than 8 hours."

Yes, get Mafia 2. If you won't rush it in one heartbeat, you will enjoy it more.
