Sneak into the basement, one of the rooms has an electrical switch where you can disable the alarm. Do this BEFORE you open the bank.

It IS a cliff hanger because they didn't show EXACTLY what happened.
One character was said to die and the other nothing. NOTHING was shown.
It was a cliffhanger that will be followed with DLC, because they want money.
20 bucks on that.

Personally I thought it was a really cool aspect, but it left me running out of ammo a lot.
Offtopic, the Thompson in Mafia 1 had terrible recoil... had me wasting a lot of ammo there as well.

Also, I liked the recoil because you had to move the mouse down slowly if you were going to spray. I used it like a rifle and shot one or two shots in burst.

I guess the protocol for releasing any game with guns in it now a days is to make it as unrealistic and completely bland as possible.

Wait aren't you the guy who made a big deal over the devs and modding and hates them or something.
Anyways, if they showed what exactly happened it would look pretty bad. The mysteriousness of the ending makes it good. Oh and the DLC isn't even going to be continuing the story, so don't go making any stupid claims.

I get it, but the mouse movement was very stiff... even if you turned the sensitivity up. It was hard to aim exactly on the target to get a headshot with a burst fire, but shooting anywhere else feels like it takes too long and wastes too much ammo.
I really felt I ran out of ammo A LOT.

I don't know if I'm the only one but it seems like games have gone downhill. The past year and a half I've been playing great games like the original resident evils, final fantasy titles, GoldenEye, SuperSmash 64, Donkey Kong on the SNES, even Mafia 1.
I feel like every time I say "Okay, maybe I'll actually buy this game" I end up doing so and am completely disappointed.
On top of all these crappy changes the game is like 5 hours long with hardly ANY re playability.
What a waste of money.

I just wanted to say. I found a funny bug. I killed O'Neil in the 6th chapter I think when you were supposed to fight him, by breaking his neck with the silent kill move, because he was facing the other way when I pressed LMB. It was really funny because there wasn't anything else to do in that room and all the exits were blocked after that so I restarted.

Silent kill bug was annoying had exactly same and that part where that guy crash's into that hookers car lol
I'm trying to get the achievement that requires you to export 5 cars to Derek at the docks but every car I bring isn't nice enough. I'm assuming I need classy sports cars but I've been to all the rich neighborhoods and haven't seen any. I do remember though, during a certain chapter, I saw sports cars EVERYWHERE but I don't remember which chapter it was. Anyone have any advice for this achievement?
Also, can you load the last chapter on the hard difficulty and get the achievement for beating it on hard even if you played through the game on medium?
