I only found 3 too, I really hope they're going make DLC that expands the storyline.
Got it installed, downloaded the Vegas Pack, watched the tory cinematic...then relatives came round. Just starting now :D
I'm on the "Ending Sucks" bandwagon too. Ambiguous endings are all well and good, but this just leaves too many loose ends.
Im also now fucking bored of the game. Theres nothing to do in story anymore. The Betrayal of Jimmy imo is just a plot to get people to waste more time on the game.

Here's my quick review of it.

I played the game and was entertained for all the 10 hours of it. But sometimes I wondered why. Normally in a game so story-driven like Mafia 1 was, you play as a character and you're put in his eyes, control him but don't really do. Like you make him do what he does but you don't chose, the story choses what you do. Normally they get you used to characters and then you feel bad when you have to kill them or when they get killed. I hate comparing this to GTA IV but at the end of the game, one of the choices gets Roman killed. You spend countless hours doing things with him or for him so you feel bad if he gets killed. In Mafia 2, They kill off your mother and Marty. You see your mother once when you first arrive and then she calls you once. Marty, you meet him once for 10 seconds and then again he saves Joe's life in the greaser's scrapyard. You don't get attached to those characters.
Sure you might say that it's so you feel bad for Joe or for Vito but you really don't feel that much for Vito because he just kills for no reason. You soon start not to care that much about Joe when he forces you to kill all the chinks. And all of that for Henry, a guy you work with for like 2 missions and that Joe and Vito seem to care a lot about. Sure they skip a couple of days but it seems like you're just sleeping for those days. You don't get more money or guns except for when you get your house.
The only character you would feel bad about seeing him dead is Joe. And well, they end the story in such a cliffhanger that you don't really give a fuck at that point. Then there's the reference to Mafia 1 where you kill Tommy. It's a nice part but it makes no sense: You never hear about Salieri, all you are given is a car that looks like the one in the last cutscene and a message that is what was said in the end of Lost Heaven. It was totally pointless and you can easily see it as a shameless plug.
There were countless moments where I thought to myself "I don't want to do that !" Like when you kill the chinese guys, when you warn Leo Galente, When you deal the dope, When you kill Derek, when you HELP Derek, when you help your sister and then act like a tough guy.
The hype didn't kill it for me as I wasn't particularly aware of the game's release date until 2 or 3 months ago. I personally would give it about 6/10. It contains great attention to detail in some places but it looks like they half-assed the rest.

So if you have a console I'd say rent it for a week. You're gonna have fun. But this game is in no way worth 60$. If you want it on PC I'd recommend waiting until it's on sale. 20-30$ is the most you should ever pay for this game.

Its dead easy to get all of the DLC packs. So I dont see why that is needed.
Hey guys, how do I use the console thing? I've extracted all the files to the area where my Mafia 2 exe is. But when I launch the supplied exe, Mafia 2 doesn't really launch and in the task manager it's using 0 CPU and 104k Memory.

Well I made this because I wanted to know how I could start the game with a suit on, better yet I found a way
to have a suit in your closet when you start the game without buying it. Its not what I wanted but its a compromise :D
So I will be relasing packs that are just suits, or packs that are just
shirts etc.

I fixed it, thanks for your help though. But now I'm having another problem. When I try to use the compressor command, It keeps saying it doesn't exist. I'm typing it in correctly.

You see, it is not yet possible to just have a suit in your wardrobe when you start the game, unless you bought it, but I found a way by editing the
dlc packs. Yes I changed files but I had to edit the content files.
It wasn't a ssimple as renaming files since that just causes an error
it's a custom dlc [u]PACK[/u] if it was custom models then I would obviously stated so
So if someone makes a custom model, here's a simple way to get that model into the game instead of replacing files

tbh I just wanted to start with a suit in my wardrobe, then I got all the dlc and said fuck the suit and put the dlc in it.
plus it's useful to get a Police car in also.
I'm still going to release my power pack though.

Hello everyone I have a little problem about that gui file ... I download it and overwrite it and forgot to back up my old one ... Then I started the game and it showed me the free ride mod okay ... But then I look closer and I didn't saw New game option and I didn't even star the story ... So someone please be that kind and upload the original gui-main.sds file please :)

If somebody manages to make a DLC to allow us to tune the cars to level 3 tuning with or without the blower without having to use LUA commands then it would be worth using a custom DLC.
