On the final mission, I got fucking pissed when I walked up the staircase and some dude tossed a grenade. First one in the entire game (in empire bay).

Anyone knows how to change the sky/weather and player model for the Rags to Riches chapter? It's a bit better than the normal Free Ride mode here since I can save my progress in the safehouse so I can keep my cars and stuff lol, but the black sky and untextured Jimmy looks weird and awkward. [editline]03:44AM[/editline] Well seems like I can change the RTR model with Vito/Joe's model in the pc\sds\player folder by switching/renaming each other's files, though the sky is still a nuisance.

The ending isn't a cliffhanger. It's just really abrupt. I personally thought it was a great ending, but they could have drawn it out a bit more, eg. [sp]show vito's reaction more or something.[/sp]

I can appreciate the dlc if developers make it post launch for people who want a lil bit more but nickeling and diming people for the content that was created during the initial development is just fucked.

Ok.. finished the game, gotta say i really loved it.. but is there anything else to do except doing it on hard difficulty? And is there any word on when the dlc will be released?

Oh my god the fucking ending. I was expecting to [sp]go on a rampage and get Joe back. For fuck's sake, he risked his life and gave up everything he ever wanted just to save your ass, and Vito just lets him get taken away. What the fuck. So much for being great friends. I mean it's pretty obvious that they're either going to make that as a DLC/EP/Mafia 3, but still. Ending the game like that is really dumb.[/sp]

Any LUA code to get Vito with the haircut he had in prison?

Ending woulda been pretty cool if Vito narrated during the credits or something. Might have helped add some substance.

on the mission where you steal the gas stamps, I noticed there was an achievement for not setting off the alarm. How do you do this? I didn't fire my gun at all (though when I spoke to henry again he acted as if I had, and cut my pay by a third presumably).

Update: Dammit, I guess my custom dlc doesn't work with people who are using steam, people who cracked it to use the mods are in luck.

Game was short and the ending was crap, i wish there was more to the end.

So I was gonna buy this off steam. Is it worth £29.99? I enjoyed the demo. I enjoyed the shooting and it looks sexy.

Are there multiple endings to Mafia II? There are a few parts in the game that can end up differently, so I was wondering if it has an impact in the end.

How the hell are you meant to stay alive for 10 mins with 4 stars, the police ai is shit, so they either kill you, or forget about you, and on that mission where you [sp]just come out the chinese resteraunt, i hide in the alley, but joe just fuckin' blazes them to pieces :/ [/sp]

He and Joe go on a vengeance mission against the Triads because they killed Henry. He goes to the Mona Lisa to save Joe and kills tons of Vinci's guys, ruining his Mafia reputation. He kills Derek who killed his dad, same thing. Obviously Vito is a loyal guy to his friends and family and that's why he saved Leo. He wouldn't just let his best friend for his entire life get driven away without even putting up a fight. Fuck that.[/sp]
