I am really pissed at 2K they promised a long 15 hour game with tons of nice little features that added up to be epic and all we got was a half assed attempt to make a game I hope imnit theonly one who thinks they wasted some money, this was worth £20 because they cut half the game why not cut of half the price?

Indeed. Though this seems to be the case of pretty much everyone, they even promised and claimed that the script and stuff was 2x bigger than the original Mafia, instead it actually felt the same, if not shorter.

I think Joe thought of him as like a little brother. The reason they didn't show much of Marty was that Vito wasn't supposed to care about him, Vito and the others always talk badly about Marty but Joe sticks by him but doesn't let him do things that he considers too dangerous because he cares about him. The whole point of Joe getting sad over Marty's death was that Vito couldn't understand why he was so upset, and that's why they didn't let the players see Marty too much and get attached to him, it would make the player angry because Vito doesn't care about Marty while they were upset about his death. But, the devs intended us to not feel much emotion towards Marty
The game was 15 hours for me.
Although I agree it definitely wasn't worth the price.
Ok, could I get some help please?!
I've installed the file for the Free-ride mode.... When I choose lets say: Winter day.. It loads, then a screen pops up saying: Save Failed, click retry to try again, or continue without saving.
When I click continiue without saving it just keeps on loading.... but doesnt do anything else but that. Oh yea, it shows bunch of txts explaining how the mafia works etc etc... but it doesnt load the game up so I can play :S
Anyone?

Leone Galante: ''He doesn't matter any more, he and his friend are both dead men walking anyway. Driver get us outta here will ya!''
*Vito hails a cab and orders it to drive into the same direction as Joe.*
The car where Joe was in is parked next to the road, one guy is beating up Joe with a baseball bat the other one is having a smoke.
*Vito shoots both and quickly runs to Joe.*

I thought the game was excellent with some annoyances.
1- Ending
2- You don't get to keep any hotrods.
3- Rather short.

I installed that GIU thing for free ride... backiped my save files! Now even in the NORMAL game mode... where I do Mission, it doesnt SAVE ANYMORE! IT FAILED!

First off, I don't see any questions that haven't been answered.
Lastly, restore the original gui_main.sds and your backed up saves. Now click Continue chapter or whatever and it should work fine.
Make sure you didn't modify any other files.

For all the people making up their own endings, that is kind of the point. They intentionally left it open so you can interpret and consider what happens next.

They left it open so they can finish it off with DLC and make more money.
If they continued the story in DLC, I wouldn't feel it would be apart of the actual game. It just wouldn't feel very natural.

1. I agree it was bad.
2. You can keep the pontomac with the supercharger you use to chase the hotrod, but to actually keep one of the hotrods you have to get one of the fricken preorder dlcs.
3.they rushed it and cut a shitload of things and are releasing them in dlcs to make more cash.
