I managed to grab the -GAS- stamps without disabling the alarm, escape, and still not kill anyone. Edit: By the way, the ending was terrible in my opinion.

It's incredible just how much they cut from the game, considering the massively long development time. Some of it was carved out as DLC, sure, but they still threw out a lot of good stuff. Really disappointing.
It is pretty disappointing. It's a great game that could have been amazing. I have no idea why it took 8 years to make though, and then cut out most of it anyways.

My console keeps crashing when I try to type anything into it or press F1 to give me some weapons. I have the latest .NET framework and C++ 2010 redistributable.

The game was good, absolutely, but it was a disappointment - and no one need point out that it's a sequel.
The endings too abrupt to truly tell one way or another. But I still have my guesses.

the ending SUCKED. When the camera was going up, focusing the city I was like "No way the game is going to end now, that would be just bad". And bam, rolling credits. Fuck. I hope they release some sort of expansion or dlc so we can actually finish the game. As it is right now, that's no ending, it's just a huge cliffhanger. And I'm not going to wait 8 years again to know what happened to Joe, that's for sure.

It does seem like they set themselves up for a Mafia III though.
