am I the only person who sat through the game thinking 'hey this part could have just been done in a cut scene or not at all, this is boring me'? (like answering the phone on the last chapter)

My guess is they started chopping up the game around the time Sony came to them for DLC. Vito became the "cinematic experience". Jimmy became the rest of the game.

Of which only the latter one is released on PC and Xbox. If they are indeed connected to each other, as it sounds like. I'm out of words, I don't see how the developer can do that.

Sure, cutting content then adding it as a DLC is fucking irritating which is why I never buy such DLC, but don't jump to conclusions here. Unless there's been something else along with the OST song list.

For the warehouse, try to bring a rifle like the m1 or kar98 and pop [sp]derek[/sp] quickly. Other people say drive a car in up agasint the stairs or under neath him or something.

I don't see why you're all crying about how they're making the content out in DLC's. Does it matter? You enjoyed the game that is there, correct? They made the game, they can choose how to distribute it, whether through DLC's or otherwise. They put their work into it, they do what they want with it, you'll just have to deal with it.

Nobody knew that all this content was cut before the game was released so a lot of people didnt even know that they got an incomplete version of the game but now through modding it is slowly showing up. I will definitely not buy any DLC for Mafia 2, and I could swear that. I dont let greedy companies fuck me up my ass. That L4D2 thingie is a different story, I didnt want to buy it either but I had the chance to get it for 20€ PREORDERED i didnt hesitate, because that seemed like an appropriate price to me. (Just like many other people)

I'm kind of sad now. I loved the main story, despite it could have being longer... But now that it's over I feel there's nothing to do. I already spent a few hours dirtying/wrecking cars at the scrap yard and/or robbing shops/holding out against the police in a diner. The police who apparently don't have car radios kind of limit the appeal of chases or sieges. At the diner it took about a minute for me to kill all the cops then I had to walk outside and attract the attention of a passing officer (Who wasn't really interested in three bullet-ridden police cars, a smashed up diner, many dead bodies and some burnt wrecks) to get some more to come. What does the Freeroam mod add? I might even end up buying the DLC if it adds enough.
