I saved my game in free ride once, but when I loaded it up I crashed anytime I shot anything. Pretty annoying.
Wow if you guys are pissed about Mafia 2's DLC then you should go check Kany and Lynch 2 on steam, and see the the DLC released right after release. It's like a crime.

I can't get the console to work, I put it in with the .exe and ran it from that, but when I hit f12, It doesn't come up.
I'm also using the Freeroam mod if that effects anything.

The console your using doesn't work for steam. Unless you have a cracked exe it's not going to work.
Best console to use for legit steam is the one made by Hyperz

Oh fuck, I used dev console to upgrade cars to lvl 3 and now my game fails to load. If I choose "load chapter" option, and choose chapter 5, will chapter 6 start next?
This game needs some more weapons, I'm really surprised they didn't add in a BAR or a M1 carbine.

I really hope someone makes mod to add the BAR, could replace the weird (and rather useless) testing weapon.
But, in general it could use a bit more variety in weapons considering you normally only see six or so weapons.

Don't they realize that no one really cares about Jimmy? He's more of a plot device just so they can have an excuse to charge for free-roam. Give us Joe! Give us Henry! Give us the true ending and cut content with Vito! Or hell give us a brand new character. People don't care about this Jimmy guy. People are interested in seeing the side missions and new features in free roam. If we wanted a long and drawn out plot then lets do it right.

Yeah. I don't like how you can only get the KAR and the Italian machine gun the first mission as well.

What error are you getting? Are you entering the code like the following

Damn bullshit. Every time I die or launch the game and have to load a save I get a "Load failed" error. Even with a new profile.

You can't.
For those having problems entering hotels on missions, I found that I'd spent some of the money and when I restarted the chapter, I made sure I had over the amount needed and it let me into the hotel.
