Well, I placed the files in the mafia2/pc directory like the readme stated, at first I ran the normal Mafia2.exe thinking I run the m2dev.exe after and it would inject, but I was wrong and it didn't work, then I just ran the m2dev.exe and it ran fine, I went in-game, stepped outside, opened the console and it worked.
Aw well i did that and it didn't work, i guess i'm just unlucky :smith:
Try running it as admin or something.
What OS are you on?

Maybe it's choosey about operating systems.

It might not work on 32-bit. If you're using a crack, make sure it's one supported by m2dev.

Pretty sure that means it's clean.
Most of the time that is a false positive because of the way the file works.
I played Jimmy's Vendetta on the normal game ... I select Load chapter from that Free roam mod and found some chapter I choosed it and start Tutorial [sp]I was in jail so that means maybe it will start from jail[/sp] Then I click on Start City and [sp]I was in city and had to go to docks and kill someone but when I got there it crashed[/sp] Mostly because my face on Jimmy wasn't textured it was pure black and the city was without cars , sky and other things
