Still beats doing absolutely nothing. I don't know if anyone has noticed but I rarely ever see any children playing outside anymore. It's so god damned rare I'm starting to wonder if anyone is even reproducing at this point. Parenting has become so lazy that parents will not punish their kids for not playing outside. They will encourage their kids to play video games because they don't want to watch them 24/7. Our future, these kids, are not going to give the world much to hope for if they don't actually do something with themselves. So yes, if it means they are spazzing out to a video game which isn't real when they won't do anything else because it isn't a video game, I am going to say that the more active a video game makes you, the better.
It sounds like you're trying to use the Kinect/other motion controllers as a substitute for actually exercising. Pro tip: It doesn't work that way. People play games for fun, for the story or to get rid of their frustrations, not to lose weight. If you want to lose weight you go outside and do some real exercise.
this reminds me of when wii fit came out and everyone thought you could lose weight on it hell, my mom bought me a wii because she was tired of me on the computer and thought that 90% of wii games have you moving around like a retard
hell, my mom bought me a wii because she was tired of me on the computer and thought that 90% of wii games have you moving around like a retard
Your mom is lovely, wish I had a mom. Be happy that she cares about your health. Sadly wii is a lazy console too
Guys I got the perfect idea to fix Kinect. [img_thumb]http://media.arstechnica.com/journals/apple.media/360controller.jpg[/img_thumb] Make it so that you can plug this in to your Xbox and then you can sit on your couch and press buttons and use analog sticks. It's ingenious!
Kinect with buttons... I LIKE IT! :smugdog:
For some reason this made me feel really depressed
kinda gave me a boner tbh
Whats with the hate? If you don't like it, don't buy it.
The neck is the base instead of the spine? How exactly does that work? That must mean they completely removed full body recognition. First sign of failure. I really think they should stick to full body. So what if you're too lazy to get off your ass and play a game. That's your problem. Ever think that maybe it's unhealthy to sit on your ass all day? Microsoft is trying to make people not so lazy/fat. can't work with all you fatties whining about "oh my god I have to stand up to play a game?". Sheesh..what has this world come to. Back in my day, kids played OUTSIDE. They didn't have video games, or at least most didn't. They actually socialized with the real world.
Yea I know man instead of war games we should definitely get into a Humvee, drive to an actual battlefield, and proceed to run for miles while fighting for your life! Not everything is fun when you actually have to do it.
Did I say anything about doing what you do in video games? No. Not at all. I said stop being the lazy generation and get off your ass. Never did I say to recreate what you do in video games.
Still not using it except for waving at the dashboard to move around and maybe chatting with friends.
don't forget the huge fuckoff delay and you can't wear it with a use it with a skirt or baggy clothing in general i guess
