No.. what I said is that the game will never truly be 'complete' and we shouldn't have to be putting up with game-breaking updates because of the fact it's not been 'released' yet.
I have never seen someone so perfectly wrong before.
Mojang is better than Valve either way.
You can't be serious.
You're sounding more and more like a Mojang fanboy who would blindly defend Notch to the death. Have you even seen what Notch has done to Minecraft?
Read from 1.6 up on the version history page.

Still seems like a pretty lazy "fix".
What you're saying is that, since Valve can do it, Mojang should be able to do it.
No. Valve and Mojang are nothing alike.
Yeh, Valve actually has talented coders.
Paramud, just stop. Your inability to come up with some form of coherent argument and also your lack of ability to read and digest other people's replies is just causing you to look like an idiot.
Oh, and any credibility you had was lost when the said that 'Mojang is better than Valve' - despite the fact that I'm not a Valve fanboy, you are so incredibly wrong.

Yes. I've been playing since Alpha.

I'm sorry. How can I say this,
Games will never be completely bug-free before release. Your expectations are too god damn high. The fact that it isn't finished is exactly why you should put up with game-breaking bugs.

You're still evading the fact that 1.6 actually made the game a lot worse. And didn't really fix or add that much to make up for it.
We were much better off before 1.6 was released.

Okay, wow.
It's like you don't even realize how many glaringly-obvious game-breaking bugs came with the 1.6 update and its hotfixes. You just keep pushing your argument that Minecraft being "in beta" completely excuses the disaster that was the 1.6 update.
You're still evading the fact that 1.6 actually made the game a lot worse.
Debatable depending on your experience. I haven't come across any game breaking bugs, and I've actually had quite a bit of fun with this update.
Although I am missing multiplayer, I had quite a bit of fun playing online before the server went down due to the Nether issues.
Paramud. Every single game has it's bugs. No games are perfect, even upon release. But for a BETA that I PAYED for, that I was PROMISED updates and a full game, when Notch releases a update that completely breaks my Minecraft going from me playing it and having fun (pre- 1.6) to me not being even to get to the game menu( after 1.6 update), I think there's something going wrong. And oh, congratulations on playing since Alpha :v: ..

You paid £10. Big whoop. You pay the same amount for GMod and that breaks just as much as it fixes and GMod is a a finished "game".

Exactly. Multiplayer was a large component of Minecraft, and one of the main reasons people bought Minecraft in the first place. There are several other game breaking bugs as well, you just haven't had the misfortune to come across them yet.
How many other games do you know of that let you in on the beta at all when you preorder them?
You know, I'd be fucking HAPPY if Notch hadn't released Minecraft yet, and released it in a few months if it was game-breaking-bugs free.

Isn't Garry a 1 man team with regards to Gmod?
And anything game breaking with Gmod gets fixed like the same day or the next day?

It still is. I haven't had any issues with it. Worst I've gotten were some invisible chunks extremely far out from my spawn.
Regardless, you can regret buying games all you want. For example, I own Splinter Cell: Double Agent.

Hey, go make a diamond pickaxe, break a single block with it, drop it, pick it back up, break another block with it, and then come back.
Paramud is completely right. When we bought the game we actually pre-ordered it and we should expect not to be able to play the game every time it is updated, because it is in beta.
Thanks for letting me see the truth para.

Bug Fixes:
Fixed CPU issue on multiplayer (?)
Attempt at fix for severe CPU hog bug on SSP
New Bugs:
Dropped tools, once picked up, disappear after first use [1] [update: a note on the minecraft.net forums mentioned that putting them into and out of a chest first might stop this from happening. Also if you die your tools can suffer a similar fate]
Sometimes freezes most water into ice regardless of if its in a snow biome or not.
Sound Effects lose sync with their respective actions.(?)
CPU issue fix is still failing, same loop as 1.6.3
Achievements may get bugged. [2]
Updating of lighting due to torches and other player instigated sources seems to be even worse.
Underground or otherwise enclosed minetrack corners can cause you to clip through wall and lose health.
One Minecart may partially pass through another on a slope, when held by a non-activated booster track. [3] [4]
Fire does not show up on a map item.
Fire sticks around much longer on blocks it can't burn.
Cobweb now acting like a solid block, player can pass through it, but he/she will get damaged.
You are able to travel down through a "closed" Trapdoor/Hatch (Under certain circumstances).
If the player is crouched while saving, he/she will then (when loading the world) spawn an additional 1.62 meters higher, and visibly fall to the grown (unhurt). However, if this occurs while standing under a solid block (such as a low ceiling), then the player will suffer 0.5 hearts of damage from clipping into the block temporarily ("suffocation"). Warning, also occasionally happens even when not crouched! (See Bug Report.)
When boats are submerged, they do not float back to surface. [5]
All TNT-entities stay clientside after exploding, until reconnection. (New bug because before just random ones stayed)
Shift-clicking to transfer items to/from chests, inventory, dispensers and storage minecarts can result in the game crashing when the container receiving items is full.
Can't move and can mostly only see sky and sea when server.properties "view-distance" is set above 5. Note that the default is 10.
Hostile mobs sometimes spawn when using a bed even in a well lit room sealed off from outside enviroments, this appears to possibly be related to the lighting bug mentioned above (this can be an old bug: see [6]).
Fighting through wooden doors no longer works. Swinging as sword through the window of the door will do damage, but also cause the door to open, letting in your enemy. Iron doors are still safe. (Possibly intentional or part of the "too close to levers" fix?)
Craftable maps sometimes don't display the correct name, become blank or have gaps.
When crafting an item, shift clicking may cause different items to be created if the elimination of resources would create a situation in which that item can be crafted. For example, having 1 stone in the top left and two in the top middle and top right, along with two sticks in the middle and bottom middle, shift clicking will create a pick and a hoe.
Powered minecarts do not push other minecarts around. image gallery show problem, reversed image order
Sometimes when riding a boat with a map out, the player suddenly dies for no apparent reason.
Light bugs found in 1.6.2 can now occur in old generated chunks (not only in those generated in 1.6.x). Some screens here
When climbing a ladder in a 1x2 shaft, under certain circumstances, it is impossible to target a block opposite of the ladder. The cursor will repeatedly alternate between the wall and another block, usually the ladder.
The corruption of world when running out of memory fix does not always work.
When two portals share one nether portal, disabling the first portal, which is the primary portal for reentry to the world, causes the game to spawn a new portal in a random location when returning to the world. Following that the game crashes. Disabling that new portal and re-enabling the primary portal stops this from happening. Disabling the new portal and not re-enabling the primary portal causes the game to spawn yet another new portal if the process is repeated.
