Are you surprised?
Oh fuck off with that autism ad-hominem. Is it really too much to ask that, before an update, he tests it first? Is it really too much to ask for that he creates less bugs than he fixes? There is no way he could not notice these bugs unless he did no testing beforehand. THAT is what annoys me, first and foremost.
Get his cock out of my mouth? You guys are being inhumane with the way you're slagging him off. And hell, if he did fix bugs before releasing them you guys would only get more mad cause it took longer to release an update.
Inhumane? I'm not going to his house and cutting his bollocks off, i'm criticising the complete lack of testing he did with these updates.
How about having a mass of angry nerds pressuring you into updating as fast as you can? You guys are so incredibly egoistical and selfish, it blows my mind. [editline]28th May 2011[/editline] Programming takes a lot of time and effort, bugs don't fix themselves you know.
Yeah, but it's not like there actually moving as fast as your making them out to be. It would have been better for Notch and his crew to have small updates, so if there is a "Game Breaking Bug" it will be easier to find/fix than going through a huge ton of material, like this update.

How about everyone slam notch with questions/anger/angst about having a test client for the next big patch. He probably won't listen, but he might.
The entire beta is a test client.
That's not what I meant and you know it :eng99:
My page 25 is broken. Maybe I should complain about Garry being a horrible coder. [editline]28th May 2011[/editline] Oh hey it magically fixed itself.
Lol yes guys the problems are annoying and Notch can be a bit lazy at times but calm the hell down. What I'm looking forward to is SMP Nether once everything is fixed. This might mean new Nether content.
okay for some reason desert biomes have been turned in to snow biomes on my map [editline]28th May 2011[/editline] and my server still doesn't work notch jesus
That happened to my server's primary world when it updated from 1.4 to 1.5 http://mc.horobox.co.uk/ (go to the right of the screen and pick Primary world, the default world is a 3rd party generated so it's 0,0,0 on dynmap is screwed)
This thread is now about discussing breakfast.
That picture of the breakfast you had is now my desktop background and my goal. What I want most in life is my own place where I can cook myself a decent breakfast each morning before driving to work. You helped me realise that. Thankyou.

It updated to 1.6.5 when I forced an update
YES IT'S UPDATING YES
Whelp, I guess I chose a good time to get home
Well it updated to 1.6.5 but what did it change?
Just noticed, the version number no longer shows in-game.
So, anyone know what the changelog is?
Almost had to have a social life then
So, anyone know what the changelog is?
less bugs
Just noticed, the version number no longer shows in-game.
Just noticed that too.
Just noticed that too.
CPU bug is not fixed either
The grass still overlaps over the edges, So that's not fixed, I can confirm about the version number no longer displaying in-game, and it appears that ice-regeneration has either been disabled, or slowed down, instead of it being a bit fast.
Strange update, curious why theres no changelog
It uses 20% of cpu now and FPS doesn't get higher than 45. It was better in 1.6.4 for me. Hm it's okay now, the chunks were loading really slow.
http://cubeupload.com/im/6QSrUQ.png :aaa:
You heard the ocean, Use the patcher, Noob!
http://cubeupload.com/im/6QSrUQ.png :aaa:
:ohdear:
God damnit, this means we're all going to have to wait for the next MCP version so we can get our mods back. I'm downgrading back to 1.6.4 Ugh how come it won't work?
You heard the ocean, Use the patcher, Noob!
The ocean has spoken and I have obeyed.
Works fine for me, patched with the one for 1.6.5 for high res texs [editline]28th May 2011[/editline] Performance wise it seems to be running much better on my system.
