This is a fantastic update and Notch is doing a great job fixing the bugs[img]http://i.imgur.com/ZJJb0.png[/img]

Well, I might as well try updating on my crappy laptop and see what happens. But...that thing can barely run Minecraft as it is. And with 1.6...:ohdear:

So does anybody know any good servers that are up?

The server will crash and the players position is saved in the bugged position, if the player rejoins after the server has been rebooted, the server will instantly crash. Enjoy griefing.

I liked having my game version while I was playing the game. It also helps while I'm watching Let's Plays. I want to know what version they're playing. I guess it's just something that grows on you.

Hatches are pretty much useless

Not really, you can actually use them to make drawbridges, and pretty good house defense too, maybe with a bunch of two wide hatches around the house, with a lever toggling them. So on = hatches are flat, and off = hatches are pointing down.

I updated my post, and also, to make drawbridges, just add redstone on the block that the hatch is attached to, to make a drawbridge. Hang on, I'll get a picture of what I'm talking about.
