We should round up a few EU players on MHTri and play a bit. I really want to play and I can't bring myself to do offline-quests yet so I want to focus on Online a bit.
Imagine, current-gen graphics but on the 360/PS3/PC. And a 10x bigger world, more freedom and better character customization. why is my wallet empty
so basically an mmo is what you want? there are oh so many mmo's out there in the world.
so basically an mmo is what you want? there are oh so many mmo's out there in the world.
Except most MMOs don't have the combat system of Monster-Hunter (atleast from what I am aware of) [editline]4th April 2011[/editline] Wowie, game is European only :smith:

We're playing European because we're in the European group.
But only in Glorious Nippon!
You can use a proxy, you just can't talk because people are dicks and report you. [editline]4th April 2011[/editline] There's also item translation guides on some MH Fansites, I forget where though so google it up.
Picked it up on release after playing frontier on the PSP, really didn't give it the time it needed being a thinking mans RPG. Also didn't want to shell out for the classic controller so intentionaly made it harder for myself >< Might be interested in Euro games if they start happening.
I didn't buy the controller either, Wiimote and Nunchuck work just fine. I'm up for a game later on if anyone else is.
i'm bumping this because I just got this game because it looked promising enough but it appears to be really complicated anybody play this?
I bought it with the classic controller and played it for a couple hours it's fun, but a little hard to get into. I'll probably get into it one day.
it's a little overwhelming but i think i can get the mechanics once i play it enough i'm still interested how the online portion of this game plays out
i'm still interested how the online portion of this game plays out
Amazingly. That's how. This is probably one of the best (if not THE best) co-op games ever, if you've got a good group. Unfortunately, finding a good group is... difficult. Lots of idiots online.

I'm already the highest rank online and I've had very few cases where people were just plain stupid. Very fun online. [editline]30th May 2011[/editline] Except people hate Alatreon for some reason. I think its really fun to fight.
i finished this game not long ago, every fucking boss after royal ludroth is a pain in the ass, and the adrenaline that build up when you have 30 seconds of the 50 minutes left, no more potions, last sharpener stone used is fucking delicious and the rage when you lose and the infinite joy and satisfaction when you win first time aswell.
Mmmm. Finished my HR Hammer Set today. HGE, Sharpness +1, Attack Up L. [editline]30th May 2011[/editline]
