Idea/Theory time We're trying to save Kayd (Ryukaki) for sure. Kelbris is probably the Giant, though. Remember, in Majora's Mask, there were a LOT of people to help -- people who weren't necessarily related to the Giants, but whom you had to help regardless. There was that little girl, Pamela, who lived with her cursed father in Ikana; Lulu, whose voice was gone because her children had been stolen; a bunch of Gorons with issues because of the winter in the mountains; the monkey, who was imprisoned for "kidnapping" the princess; Anju and Kafei, who had their marriage almost ruined; Cremia and her little sister Romani, who were being targeted by the Gorman brothers and aliens. The list goes on and on. My guess would be that Kayd is supposed to mirror the positions of one of the people in the game whom you have to help. We have to help him, and free the Giant at the same time. Or, if it really IS going to parallel Majora's Mask, possibly sacrifice him in order to get at the Giant, as you can't help everyone in one three-day cycle in MM, and if you don't sacrifice some people, then you can't help others (Such as, you can't complete the Anju and Kafei sidequest unless you let Sakon rob the old woman of the bomb shop.) We indefinitely need more information about Kayd, if possible. There's a possibility -- I mean, maybe not -- but there's a possibility that his situation -does- mirror someone in the game. If so, then perhaps we could figure out who. Also, Kelbris -- wasn't Kelbris from Egypt? If so, that means Kelbris mirrors the Giant of Ikana, which is wrapped up in the Stone Tower Temple, along with some other figures present there in the game -- Pamela and her father, a researcher; the lone thief, Sakon; the Garo tribe of ninja; the fallen Kingdom, filled now with Stalchildren. My point is, we probably have to help different people on each cycle. And what about the Fierce Diety mask? In the game, you could only get that by getting every single one of the masks, and that meant repeating the days over and over again, helping different people each time, to get the masks. So we'd have to do that, and then go through the Moon Children, until finally we get to BEN, and then get the Fierce Deity's Mask. The question is, do we do that through videos? I think that yes, we probably do (because how else are we supposed to play?), but we need more information before doing anything.
Hmmm I have an idea. He sayed the dogs scared "IT" off . We need to contact him and tell him to befriend one of the dogs. Also... there seems to be a big dog and a small dog so just mabye tatl=small one tael=big one.... SHIT'S GETTIN REAL. Edit: these are definetely The Elegy's eyes. They have the same spacing BIG EDIT PEOPLE ! http://i52.tinypic.com/11spieo.png we lost him
we saw that already [editline]02:41PM[/editline] In the Orchard 2 video, I believe, he said something about the dogs chasing something, he said they weren't flipping out over him, but were instead chasing something else. In Majora's Mask, if you go near a dog as Deku Link, said dog flips out and attacks you. It's fine around all the others, human, Zora, Goron, but not the Deku. So, could the "thing" the dogs were chasing be, in fact, the RL equivalent of a Deku Scrub? A Deku Link? Or Alex, our Link, went missing. If he was turned into the Deku Scrub, and the dogs were chasing him, it's hard to say. I don't know. Your theory makes a lot of sense to me, Church, but I just remembered the aggressive behavior the dogs showed the Deku Scrubs in the game (or, well, really just Deku Link), especially since there was only ever one dog in South Clock Town there in the beginning. Then again, I could easily see the dogs being the fairies too, but...
Hey guys, I made my own thread not seeing this one, but there's a chat now. We need as much help as we can get figuring this out: http://tinychat.com/whatisthetruth
I think we have this as a main steam group FYI http://steamcommunity.com/groups/TheARGGroup Also new video
New info on YSHDT! http://www.youshouldnthavedonethat.net/ The Coolest part:
I'm proud to announce that we will be releasing an interactive videogame for download in tandem with the final phase of the story. It is not a videogame in the traditional sense - it's another perspective into the story and more importantly another resource that you will need to utilize. You have watched Ifrit and Ryukaki go through being tormented by BEN, and now you will experience it first-hand. You will have to use the three main resources - Jadusable's Youtube Channel, this website, and the game itself to solve the final installment in this story. A clue on the website may lead you to do something that would allow you to progress further within the game and vice versa. The game will be updated in real-time (an Internet connection will be required to play) as the story unfolds and players progress further in this twisted world, the environment changing right before your eyes as you start to go through the same motions as your predecessors. Remember, BEN is completely in control of the Internet now - but does his presence extend beyond that as others have claimed? While you may be the only one physically in the game, you are not alone in this impossible endeavour - over the past month you have been conversing with each other and deciphering clues, allying yourselves with complete strangers to overcome insurmountable odds. Those relationships you have formed will be strained and your ability to work together as a team will be tested. You will have to stand as a community if you want to have any hope of success. Those who have a keen eye for detail and deduction skills will be your greatest assets. This is an interactive mystery on the grandest of scales, and only by uniting the entire Internet as one driving force do you have any chance of snuffing BEN out of existence.
I'm probably massively late on this, but I'm curious as to the significance of 423. In the dayfour.wmv video, Skull Kid laughs at EXACTLY 4:23. In the prototype video, there are 4 unarmed consumes, 2 consume kills for each "weapon" and 3 for the blades. At the end of lastwords.wmv, the login screen flashes every 9 (4+2+3) seconds. BEN's final game file is on the time 23:04. There's probably much more. I just found this really interesting.
Ryukaki bought the house in lastwords.wmv on april 23rd. 4/23 it's the same day that ben drowned [editline]02:35AM[/editline] other refrences to 423 is mhftt.txt (MattHubrisFourTwoThree) the original videos on Jadusable's youtube account, 4:23 in each video is a major story point. day four.wmv - "You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?" is displayed on a blank screen BEN.wmv - Link transforms into a Zora DROWNED.wmv - "You shouldn't have done that" is displayed in the happy mask shop jadusable.wmv - Screen fades to purple and link is attacked There's a shitton of refrences all over the ARG about 423 basically [editline]02:40AM[/editline] Holy shit i just realized. did the house that Ryukaki bought the same house as the one in jadusable's story?

I also like how, when it shows the clock, it's stuck on 4:23.
The only idea I have about 423 is that it might be two different two digit numbers. If that true, that would mean 42 and 23. I don't think I need to explain 42, but 23 might be a 23 enigma.
The 23 enigma refers to the belief that most incidents and events are directly connected to the number 23, some modification of the number 23, or a number related to the number 23.
Now we have to wait, it's on "pause" again :sigh:
