Is anyones Arma 2 on steam updating? Because mine is and the things it is doing sounds good.
it's updating to 1.07. It'll be a while - it's a 5gb+ file difference.

the way steam update works is it replaces the old files with the new one - it doesn't "patch it" it replaces it it.

It's reinstalling the game, I've heard of this, but never experienced it.
I got banned from a friends server for some reason. I think it might've been the update. Screwed up Battleye or something.

I'm actually kind of pissed because it's releasing at 1 est, which is the same time when the new summer deals roll around, which means "steam servers are too busy to handle your request".

OA is compatible with ARMA2 so ACE2 should work for the most part
(for the most part because they probably gotta get a handle on the new content: veh's, weapons)

Does it not work? Is OAH launched as a separate game? Oh that's a shame, I thought it would just update Arma 2 with all the new content and then you launch Arma 2 as normal, therefore retaining most of the ACE 2 features.
I want both games.
