After watching some videos about real FLIR systems, I gotta say that the FLIR in OA looks excatly like them.
Looks like MW 2

So is it more optimized and have better performance than ARMA 2?
So I tried getting into this game a while back and I feel like I'm missing something. I hear all you guys talk about great adventures and stuff but I never seemed to have any of these "wow" moments playing through the singleplayer.
Am I missing something? Should I be playing the multiplayer or map editor instead? What is the most appealing aspect about this game?
Is there any particular reason Steam has decided to re-download the original ArmA2 in it's entirety? 8GB twice in a month is not going to make my ISP happy. What the fuck is going on.

The engine cut off in midair, MID AIR. INVISIBLE POWER LINES I TELL YOU :saddowns:
Update for ARMA2 is finished. Let's hope I can get more than 35 FPS on higher graphics. :buddy:
I didn't buy it, but do I still get the graphic perks?
I've been holding back on the game purposely for it to go on sale and when it does, they rip you off by wanting you pay for a update which should be free. All it does is update the game with new content and features, nothing new. It's pretty much paying for the game twice. They use it to keep the price high.

How is an expansion a ripoff? Games have been doing this for ages, this is justified, it's not even expensive. :colbert:

$40 for an expansion? I can understand $10 at most, but $40 is like buying the same game with updated content. It's a huge rip off.
$40 for an expansion? I can understand $10 at most, but $40 is like buying the same game with updated content. It's a huge rip off.
Are you an idiot? Expansion packs have always been around $40, this isn't fucking DLC.

You must be too young to understand expansions at all.
Back in the day an expansion was all you got, none of this DLC bullcrap.

It's a standalone expansion.. how is it a ripoff? You don't even have to get the original one. Operation Arrowhead is a great expansion and is well worth the money!
10 maps in Modern Warfare 2 costs as much as Operation Arrowhead. (Well, almost) Now which one is a ripoff?
