well OA has a shitload of community work, iirc strykers, some stuff by ACE team, johnny's reskinned USMC (and models were tweaked) , and much more
so i wouldnt be surprised if i saw that stuff in the credits.

It's not PVP oriented because
It's laggy, which kills the fluidity for good pvp action
too many bots, which distract from the PVP (PvP shouldn't even have bots)
too large, makes PVP encounters infrequent
Project Reality does PVP better because it has none of these problems. Arma just isn't oriented for PVP, which explains why theres hardly any PVP servers for Arma 2. BIS could make a PvP online-only ARMA-brand game, but they haven't and it's truly a shame. I'll be playing Arrowhead for single-player though.

You do realize that most of that is up to the mission designer?
Most of the PVP missions have no bots at all, and the area for the fight to take place in can easily be cropped to a smaller area.
Not that it would be any fun, but it's totally possible.
And it's not really that laggy, considering how much slower the gunplay is compared to MW2 or something.

Well, you don't see Bioware making a PVP online-only Mass Effect now, don't you? The fact is that BIS sees no reason to create a "PVP" ArmA at the moment. Maybe if one of the military users of VBS1 or VBS2 requested BIS to make a more robust online simulation platform we could see a "PVP" ArmA down the road.

ok i got this game and the campaign is terrible as always it doesnt even work because of the ai sitting around and doing nothing i don't even know what i am supposed to do
but the editor is ok
Lol the intro to the Campaign is really bad, the Animations are just....kinda weird and the cinematics so to speak look really off also. MAybe its just me.
im actually enjoying the campaign, its much better than harvest red, although the pathfinding seems to have gotten worse somehow (on the mission with the m1a1 and 3 apc's its best to just switch between driver and comander and hope the apc's follow you and pray you never click disembark while trying to order an attack or you are fucked) . i wish it would explain things a bit more though, on the first helicopter mission it took me ages to work out how to use the drone littlebird and i failed the last objective for no reason

im kinda surprised they added scope zeroing but not weapon resting/bipod deployment and the rucks are crap compared to ace you cant even pack a satchel charge

Commanding is much easier with buttons §-0 and F1-F12. (For me atleast, because I've been using that way to command since OFP)
I just told the Bradleys to stop (Press F2, F3 and F4 and then press 1 and 6) and switched to gunner in Abrams and told the Driver to get to next waypoint. (press 1 and 9) Then when I was closing on enemy position I switched to using direct commands to tell driver where excatly I want to move (WASD) and rained down hell on them suckers. After the area was clear I told the Bradleys to come back to formation. (F2, F3, F4 and then twice 1)
Also commanding to move to one point in the map is easy too. (To make your driver to drive to one point in map, just click somewhere on the map, to make bradleys to go somewhere, choose one bradley (F2, F3 or F4) and then click on the map.
There was a UAV/ULB training for a reason in bootcamp.
whatnow, it needs more multicam and the guns need more attachments!!
but seriously, could probably use ALITTLE multicam

Only mission where my AI was just sitting around doing nothing was medic first aid training, and it fixed by restarting the mission.
