Acm?
Ambient combat module
Hrm, does that mean you could do the first tank level with one player being the tanker and another being the Apache pilot? If so... fucking AWESOME.
Not really that awesome though. Maybe if one level was like that it would be cool, but when I want to play a cooperative game mode, I want to be WITH whoever I am playing with, not off doing my own thing while he does his.
Could someone tell me how to install ACE for OA, step-by-step? I installed some program, and just pressed random buttons because I didn't understand a thing, and now the game crashes after playing for 2 minutes.
First of all turn of mouse smoothing in controls. You might have a slight mouse delay after that anyways, but then that's probably because your FPS is aroudn 20.
Thanks! I have two more questions regarding OA. How has the bug and framerate issues been fixed in the new expansion, Like how much, if any, frames per second did you gain compared to the original Arma 2.. Also, how are the servers population faring out on it? I know during weekends on vanilla arma 2 there's an occasional server or 2 with 30-40 people on it, how is it on Operation Arrowhead? More? Less? What's the ratio?
Well, generally OA is running better for me, except for the bigger towns. Those seem to run worse for me than they used to in ARMA2. I tried to get the ARMA 1.05 to 1.07 patch.. it still says my version is unmatched with everyone else online.... Oh well I'll just wait till I get OA :saddowns:
How do you attach soldiers to tanks from both factions in 3D How do i make Al players in 3D fly planes without crashing thanks
Guys... a tip stay away from the 7th cav servers, most of the admins are all douches and treat regular players like shit, now i remember why i got banned from there on the regular ARMA, for griefing :v: i'm yet to find a decent domination server, for now is coop or warfare all the way.

Oh.. there's only one server on the list for me now. I guess everyone moved to OA :/
I had some dick 7cav be an ass to me once on the OP4 server. He pissed me off to the point I seriously was contemplating TK'in him.
Hey guys I'm ordering Arma 2: Combined Operations today tell me what I should expect from the game.
Hey guys I'm ordering Arma 2: Combined Operations today tell me what I should expect from the game.
If you haven't played ArmA before it's gonna be a pain in the ass to learn all of the controls and get used to it. It's great fun when you understand the basics though.

Just finished downloading on steam, tried a mission out on the littlebird. Runs great at high settings and 1920x1080, much more stable than ARMA2 but I have one big problem. I can hear a tutorial or developer talking about the game, like a command bar and whatever as I was playing. I quit out and checked the processes and nothing was running, I could still hear it afterwards. Odd.
ARMA has more buttons or controls than a fucking jumbo jet i just found out in the demo theres a button to sit................ I also tend to stay far away from piloting helicopters when i took the helicopter tutorial,i pressed one button and i fly upside down spinning and doing barrel rolls while the instructer says your going the wrong way....................... then when trying to pick up the marines in a black hawk i lowered down very easy and spun round into a tree but aside from overly confusing controls the game isn't too bad
Found my monitor today after moving, finally. Just waiting for all of these updates to install and than I'll finally be able to play. :buddy:

hey guys do arma2 addons work on OA ??
yes they do [editline]08:14PM[/editline] but you might have to own arma2 and be running it on combined operations for some of them to work [editline]08:14PM[/editline] if what you're saying means i don't have arma2 just oa
oh i have both arma2 and OA [editline]09:18PM[/editline]
oh i have both arma2 and OA
so do i change the propertys in the Combined version not the main ArmA2 shortcut?
if you run it in combined arms, addons can either be placed in the arma2 addons folder, or the one in expansion/addons for arrowhead if you mean mods though, I use modtags, and i put the modtags on the arrowhead properties oh and i own it on steam
