so, if I want to install mods that will run when I use combined operations, do I put them in the Arma 2 folder, or the Operation Arrowhead folder?

If i buy ARMA II and ARMA II: OA seperatley on steam, would i still be able to run combined-ops?
Do any of you guys record in ARMA2 at 1080p? if so, what hardware and settings do you use to achieve a stable 30fps at least?

In the editor how do you start a plane moving and actually manned? I just spawned 287 planes to fly into each other. But I think they spawned empty and they spawned on the ground.
I have some great times playing Arma 2 with TLF, good banter and good company.

Spawn them from the OPFOR or BLUFOR unit list, and set their Special option to "Flying".
Is there a way to spawn them with say, infinite ammo?

I think you could alter their ammo to a really high value, but infinite no.
Try adding this to the Initialization in all of the vehicles.
this addeventhandler ["fired", {(_this select 0) setvehicleammo 1}]
So I just bought this and ARMA 2 and I am downloading this now.
Any suggestions on what to do after beating the singleplayer?
skip the singleplayer
Then how will I learn to play?
Do the tutorial missions on the singleplayer, then go multiplayer. I havent tried the OA singleplayer but ARMA 2's is really.. well.. lets just say after the 3rd mission I stopped.
Also; hoping on getting OA tommorow, yay!

OA's campaign is okay. Better than ARMA 2's abomination of a singleplayer.
Also I gotta ask, how many servers are already using ACE2 in OA and are there alot of Domination? I hate that damn mission

what is Combined operations anyways? Is it just both the games content smashed into one?
Both games with eachother's content, so ARMA2 with OA stuff, and OA with ARMA2 stuff.

for some reason every server owner thinks that Domination is the only mission anyone ever wants to play
I have ARMA2 retail disc, and Operation Arrowhead on steam, is it complicated to install, and patch ARMA2 outside of steam and merge the content, ie combined operations?
Downloading the demo.
Getting a TrackIR next week.
I would get OA, but I'm just not that interested in any of the things it adds. (Other than the Chinook, but there's already a great community made one for Arma II)
What unit uses the m14 in the editor in OA?
