Help! After reinstall my OA crashes after 10 minutes, or instantly when you choose a map in editor or select scenarios menu. No matter what patch I'm on. Temperatures are ok, I updated the video drivers, cleaned the registry, cleared the settings of ARMA. Nothing helped.
Wooo, OA (Least the demo) runs much better then ArmA 2 did for me.
Now If only I wasn't so low on money.
Played Zargabad life yesterday and forgot to post. Okay so first I spawned and didn't know what to do so I told everyone that I was going to jump off of a tower, and someone said said don't say it just do it. So I did, then when I started playing seriously I stole someones car, smashed it, wasted the fuel and brought it back to them.He proceeded to running me over. The first time I went to the bank ,an officer told me to put my hands and I didn't know how to so he shot me. Then told me and I did it, so when he left I robbed the bank and ran.
whats the medium/long term goals in ZL? short term is just making money but after that is there actually anything to do?

sup guys. I just downloaded the demo (which runs a lot more smoothly than any other ARMA, well done dev team) but I can't seem to connect to any of the very few multiplayer servers. I try to join and it just gives me the message "connecting failed"
is this a ports issue? I tried closing dropbox and everything else with no luck.
You shouldn't need to open any ports just for joining games, but the default port for servers is 2302.
The domination servers and battleeye with ping limit killed this game's MP.
Both CO and AO multiplayer are almost empty or full of russian servers, A2 is not worth mentioning because there are no players AT ALL.

I'm considering getting this. I have ARMA 2 original and love it. I have one question, however: is there an active public multiplayer community? Any PvP? I imagine the answer to the second would be "no", but I just want to ask.
Yeah, there's actually a fair bit of PVP. There's a server called "Charlie Foxtrot" that's quite active. Usually around 50 players on it.

Okay, that's sold me. I'll buy it. Was between that and BF2 (or basically Project Reality) and now that Project Reality is porting to ArmA, I don't really see a reason not to get it.
Anyone know where I can find the full version of vbs2? I could only find the lite ones, and I wanted to play with the EOD!

Finally ordered my copy.
I was happy to wait around until the price dropped a bit to get Arrowhead, but when I played the demo I realised how refined a game it is compared to Arma 2.

Why can't they just release it. I'm using the US version and it doesn't have jets.....
because it's made for countries to buy it for the military to train on, not for people in their bedrooms.
Just experimented more in Zargabad Life, this time as one of the aforementioned elitist cops.
I would pull people over, pull them out of the car, stun and restrain them, then just drive off in their car leaving them restrained on the ground in the middle of the road.
Was fun.
