What's he doing in the middle of a desert
Oh that's not a desert, it's just what's left after that raging forest fire HE PUT OUT HIMSELF
To the above: Perfectly round
In arma the aspect change doesn't actually stretch anything, it just adds onto what you can actually see in the peripheral
You should overclock the processor to at least 3ghz
It gets hot already, and my psu is only 550w.

No, they do not look round, close but not quite, Its not noticeable unless you look hard, so don't worry about it
Guys, I need help. I am making a convoy mission. So there are 3 vehicles. 1 machinegun truck in front, another at the back. The VIP SUV is in the middle. How do I set a waypoint to stick all 3 in a row?
Oh wait, I am making the VIP walk down a rally before going into the vehicle. Is there any command to make him walk, and then get in the vehicle himself?( I got this part working now)
But I can't get the convoy to wait, and then when he get in, the convoy move off.

Due to the actual effect of "widescreen vision" a good way to tell an actual perfect circle and square apart is that they seem a little too thin. Confusing stuff.
Recently got Operation Arrowhead and the game is great but there is only one little problem. My Steam Overlay won't work in-game with it. I can't seem to find out how to fix it. If anyone could it help it would be very much appreciated.
bump
If you right click on it and click properties, is the "Enable Steam COmmunity In-Game" option ticked?

Looks like I'm getting Operation Arrowhead! I won RPS's contest thing.
Is overclocking easy or should I stay away from it?

I'm creating an RTS like mission using high command and UAV modules. The fight looks spectacular from the sky with thermal. You can see the tanks blasting at each other and MG tracers flying everywhere.
Patch and DLC (on sprocket) is out.
http://www.arma2.com/supply/game-updates/file/352-a2oa_patch_154.html?lang=en
OA 1.54 patch highlights:
* Arma 2: British Armed Forces Lite - all units, vehicles and weapons from Arma 2: British Armed Forces are included in this patch with lower quality textures and audio files. The full version of Arma 2: British Armed Forces with high resolution textures and packed with a new campaign and large selection of new single player missions is available for purchase, see http://www.arma2.com/baf for more information about the content of Arma 2: British Armed Forces.
* Engineer - Engineers have undergone some serious training and are now capable of repairing damaged vehicles and defusing mines.
* Artillery Computer - All indirect fire weapons can exploit the brand new artillery computer by selecting it in the Action Menu (default binding is the mouse wheel). The artillery computer initiates an interface where you can see your weapon, and the associated minimal and maximal ranges on the map.
* Numerous stability and functionality fixes and improvements.
* Reworked MP Session Browser and Mission Selector.
* See readme.txt file for more information about the fixes, improvements and new features coming with Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead version 1.54
This is the best thing:

BiS seems to be giving OA/ARMAII Steam Users the short end of the stick or the cold shoulder with the DLC and Patch.
I got a feeling it will not be out on steam in till tomorrow.
My Copy on Steam is updating.
which sucks cause it has to re-download half of the freaking game.
I forgot to turn auto-update off, You're better off downloading the Patch from the official site, its a smaller download.

Nice way of keeping the Mp community together instead of splitting it up in DLC and non DLC parts.
When they say lower quality textures, they really mean it:

Won't be long before someone makes a replacement pack with textures "similar" to the purchased DLC ones.
Ooooh man this expansion looks awesome! So is Arrowhead a completely stand alone game or do you need ArmA 2 first like a base install sort of thing?
I've been waiting a while to get this as I wasn't sure if it would be widely taken up by the online multiplayer groups. I used to be a member of a small clan but I think after I buy this I'm going to finally join a proper community and get more involved in the whole scene. Does anybody know if Operation Reality (ORC) is going to use Arrowhead or are they going to stick with ArmA2? I've been meaning to try and apply to join their private milsim team for a while now and a new expansion like Arrowhead might give me a great reason to do so. Also does anyone know their web address, I seem to have misplaced my bookmarks? :( My localized version of google is giving me awful results also and I can't find their site anymore, how strange.
Thanks in advance for any answers! :)

I'm pretty sure arma 2 OA is a stand-alone game
Jesus Christ, the latest update screwed my game. I tried opening it, it kept opening and closing on steam, I couldn't quit it. I had to exit steam.
