Winning GameSpot's Greatest Gaming Rig contest or how to burn your house down by playing Crysis in one hour.
I find it amusing that even though the competition states that it isn't trying to save money in ANY way at all, and that the whole idea is to see how much stuff they can cram into a single PC if money was no object, people are going on about how you could build a computer that could run games maxed for much less. That's not the point. They are building a total beast of a machine that is clearly overkill, and they don't really care about it being overkill. Deal with it, and enjoy it for what it is.
It's also dumb to say they don't care how much it costs, and then put a fucking gtx460 in it. And not use 48GB of RAM.
There will be three Zotac GTX 480s and one GTX 460.
that's what I meant, what's the point in bragging about it being super amazing who-cares-how-much-it-costs when they're using cheap brands and not using 4 480s.
If I were to win I would just pull out some of the things inside and sell them to friends. There's no need for two 6 cored CPU's.

I can imagine 2020, people will laugh at this. I was ninja'd :saddowns:
Do you know how much just one of those costs?
They said money is no problem. They should have just stuck one in.
