There's a 50/50 poll because there aren't many GOOD ONES.
We need more innovative shooters. I'm tired of this camping garbage, TF2 is the only game I have found where it doesn't happen.
Uh, snipers? Well, just on 2fort
First person shooters are my favourite type of game. But yeah they are mostly too generic. It's hard to have a good first person free roam game, so I enjoy a third person free roam game every once and a while.
FPS are good games. They just started to become bad. I would rather play a game with a story, but having some action is fun too.
I would love some more Turn-based games, I love the Civ series & Combat Mission series was good but I would like some more options. If you know any suggest me some please, I would be happy if you did.
Staying in trenches and using gas, WWI would be boring - sort of.
Aside from the mentioned Eastern Front, the Middle East theater was very mobile, where horse and camel cavalry were the primary means of transportation and trenches were rare. If people have to do another military-themed FPS, they should at least stay away from World War II, post-2001 conflicts and Vietnam? When was the last time I saw something based on the Korean War? How about the big armored battles of the Six-Day War?
What I want is more metroidvania type games. I mean FPS games can be fun ,but I get tired of watching a guy's arm move all over the screen.
Too fucking many FPS-games. I hope the gaming industry will die so we might get some variation. More platformers. More shmups. More puzzle-adventure games.
