Hm. 256 slots seems a little high then for an infinite server.
Didn't Profan say the server would have 4gb of RAM?
4096 / 35 ~= 117, so a 100 slot server could be possible.

It's 4 gb of RAM, server specifications is in the OP. :)
You can have the map at 1600x1600 if you want to, that'll make it possible to have 256 players. I'd rather have an inf server with less players though.

Weell, you're forgetting i don't have 4 gb to utilize, lets say i have 3 or 3.5 GB, but yes i might make it 85 or 90 players, then keep it infinite.

Yeah, i'll accept donations, mostly so i can actually pay off what it cost to buy that monster of a dedi, but i doubt anyone will actually donate, and special privilegies? No, we don't want elitism in minecraft as well. :v:

I think we should only allow people into the server if they have 300 posts or more. This way we don't have a band of idiots flood into the server.
Would cut down on idiots and griefing a shitload.

Also we have 3 options when it comes to ram
A. Make the level a limited size (X^2*128*8=BitsOfRam. Were X is the level size)(For dumb people 3gb = 5000*5000*128 level size)
B. Get More ram for the Server
C. Get A lower amount of maximum players (256 was a bit high anyway)
