I'm rather disapointed with minecraft's updates as of late. All this time and a few new items and dogs. Disappointing to say the least.
Hey, Minecraft is a good game, but Valve still should have won.
I like minecraft, but really. Bioware and valve have created so much better games and out done them selves well.

If this were a best game company, then sure I could understand how Minecraft could mop the floor. But best developer...come on, any studio that has more then two good games deserves to beat Mojang. And they beat Nintendo?! It's not like Nintendo, you know, saved the industry or anything or have a library of amazing titles old and new.
Oh well, stupid competition is again ruined by a company that didn't deserve to make it this far. At least Zynga was eliminated in the first round.

Agree. Mojang(Notch) may have made one good game, one very popular game, but it doesn't mean that they're better developers than Valve who revolutionized digital marketing, among thousands other things.
