Valve needs to put a link on steam.
I like Mojang, but I don't see how they could be beating one of the most established game developing groups with only 1 unfinished game out.
I have Minecraft and is a good game, but sometimes is boring. Mojang only made Minecraft, and Valve made a ton of my favourite games, also they made Steam that is the only way I can buy certain games.

Mojang has done nothing revolutionary. They created 1 game, an amazingly fun game too. I'm not bashing them here, but they do not deserve to win.
Meanwhile here is Valve, who has revolutionized the gaming with almost every single game release they make. They created steam which is close to having a monopoly on the digital distribution market. Steam brings gamers together, offers an obscene selection of games to buy for insane deals. Valve connects with their market and players personally. Their technology, while dated, is very versatile and encourages modification in extreme ways. Minecraft really only allows for skins and texture changes.
Valve hands down deserves to win this award.

I agree. Valve is just so monumental in the gaming industry while Mojang is as of currently, and may be a 1 game wonder.
As a Minecraft fanboy, I have to say that to be honest Notch doesn't really deserve it. Valve is a far superior developer than Mojang from what we've seen so far. Notch took 30% of last year on "vacation" and 75% of this year so far, whereas Valve has updated TF2 and its other games time and time again.

Yeah they released a free game and a crapton of free uptades to other games (L4D,L4D2, TF2, also they uptaded CS:S to the orange box source engine) last year, and what about Mojang? they only worked on one game (Yeah I know that Mojang is just a 8 guys company)
