Force it from your cards settings?

I've heard about doing this, but I don't know how to do it with an ATI card.
Use the graphics tab in catalyst control center.
Diablo 2 for it's time has some neat looking stuff
Rdr
Deus Ex± Human revolution looks awesome.

Fallout 3 looks pretty damn good, especially with edited LOD values.
The game needs A LOT of texture/LOD replacers to look good, in its default state it looks decidedly ropey in most cases, especially outside where there is quite literally no lighting at all. Unfortunately, by the time you've modded it up to look decent, the engine throws a fit and decides to crash every 20 minutes. It's a nice 20 minutes though.
WoW will never be the same for me because of the loss of Outland. Hanging out and raiding BC's content was fascinating. Too bad nobody gives a shit about it anymore. Pics all related.

While stylistically WoW is quite nice, the graphics are pretty much a joke. Add some shadows, ramp up the polycounts, get some higher res textures, anything, but right now WoW looks like something from 10 years ago.
I'm sure this has been said before; the Castlevania series.
I was going to be angry if someone didn't mention Myst.
Myst III: Exile had some of the most breathtaking settings even if it was just a point and click adventure game.
I really liked just cause 2 and odd world mainly due to scenery.
X3 Terran Conflict has some nice backgrounds.
Can a free HL2 mod enter? Come on, look at this:

Wow, I'm surprised that's even an issue. I didn't know scenery was analogous to graphics. I guess I'll just stop coming to these threads.
Just as little personal pointer, I think a lot of the art currently in the game would lose its luster if all those additions to the rendering engine were added. If they were going to ramp up polycounts, shade everything in sight, or god forbid normal map (higher res textures aren't a big deal, they do that regularly), they'd need to reconstruct some of the art from the ground up to look good with it.
Case in point: Machinarium post below.

Maybe you guys will say it looks bad, but in-game it looks awesome and it fits the game setting very well
Also sorry for xbox in-game pics which have almost no AA, all I can find are from reviews, which almost never play on the PC.
Looks like a good game, might invest in it.
Tera Online, upcomming MMO.
Sorry for the lack of anti-aliasing on some pictures but Unreal Engine sure doesn't like it when I took them.

She has a case of Datass.
Looks like a prettified version of WoW.

Machinarium isn't really similar at all, everything's lovely and 2D and hand drawn, while WoW's 3D is all blocky and low res. I don't know, I haven't seen WoW in motion for ages, but in my opinion it could do with some prettification, I mean modern MMOs still don't look stellar but they still look better than WoW.

Dead Rising 2 was pretty damn detailed in the environment.
