New characters can be made, it's just you go in knowing you're playing in an economy/environment that is unfortunately going to get botched after a few hours of release due to it starting with players already far beyond the start.

One side of me wants to keep playing, and other side doesn't, for one it ruins the actual game sorts in Retail having gone through everything already, but it's so.. beatiful!

Guarding a Guardian is the name of that quest with all the Axil enemies and crap
Such a BS quest for a low level conjurer. When the main guy is almost dead, some giant winged enemy comes out of nowhere and tries to wreck your shit (although he was actually easy)
And then after that, this black robed guy tries to wreck your shit as well with some giant monster.
Thank god cure exists.
I had to level up my ranger a tad to earn some extra skills that help me keep the hell away from that giant gargoyle, it was ridiculous and the only time I ever died
